This was my first time ordering from Joy. I was pleasantly surprised that she also does classic Filipino cake flavours - a first in Bowmanville! I ordered a birthday cake for my husband and it was amazing! It definitely reminded me of the Goldilocks Ube cake that I grew up with in the Philippines. Not too sweet, cake was moist, and had authentic ube flavor! Thank you Joy for the excellent cake and service. We will definitely be ordering from you again!
Joy's Cakes were fantastic!! She made my baby a smash cake for his birthday and a 10" inch cake for the adults. It was everything I specified I wanted and she was very accommodating with my requests. The cakes were delicious and moist and soft...very beautiful! Everyone was impressed. Very quick to respond and super friendly. Thank you Joy! Joy was generous enough to be a sponsor and donate baked goods for our school fundraiser through Durham college. She was amazing to communicate with, a joy to work with, was super generous, and everybody loved her baked goods. I love the cake and cupcakes, I ordered for my son’s birthday. It was an eggless cake and we loved it. Joys cake is very professional, responsive and highly talented bakers.Especially I personally love the buttercream, wasn’t too sweet and really buttery. Our cake from Joy was amazing!! Everyone kept raving about how delicious it was, and they couldn't remember ever having a better cake. The decorations were exactly what I asked for, and i couldn't get over how beautiful it was. The ordering process was easy, our correspondence was always very quick, and Joy was a pleasure to work with.
