JouJou Hair Studio was recommended to me by a friend familiar with Janet's work and I haven't looked back since and have walked out thrilled after every appointment! Having decided to embrace my natural curls due to the start stop of Covid and the stage in my life where I wanted more ease in my hair care routine, I was looking for a stylist and a place where they would understand that even with this change I wanted a modern and cutting edge look and that is exactly what I got, thanks Janet! First impressions are EVERYTHING! And impress they did, the facility was clean, the environment is warm and inviting. My stylist was on time, she was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I was educated about my hair, what I should and should not use. I had an amazing experience and this will not be my last time here I enjoyed getting to know more about da kinks in my hair.

I got my hair done with Nikki for the second time and I am very happy with her service! She is knowledgeable about hair care and willingly shares her knowledge with you as she does your hair. Nikki cares about and prioritizes the health of your hair, focusing on applying practices that will grow your hair rather than just giving you a style. When I came in, she assessed my hair and scalp so she could create a customized experience. She also asked me questions about what I do to/use in my hair on a regular basis and tells me what I can do to improve. I appreciated that she took the time and effort to make sure that I have the tools to do my hair at home when I can’t make it to the salon and ensures we’re on the same page so I don’t erase any progress we make. Nikki is the only hairdresser to tell me that my hair isn’t in its most healthy state lots of split ends and encouraged me to start on a healthy hair journey. During my second appointment, she told me the different ways my hair has improved since my last visit and was supportive + excited about my progress. I feel that I have someone to join me in my journey rather than doing it on my own. If you care about your hair, I recommend you call JouJou Hair and book with Nikki. Only downfall is that services are quiet expensive. I booked for a trim and moisture treatment and it came to $150. Very expensive considering she recommended I come in every 3 weeks to trim all the split ends I had. I was charged the same amount for a silk press which I got 3 weeks prior even though I only blowdried it. Rating would’ve been five stars if not for the price.

Had an amazing experience at JouJou hair studio. Everyone is so friendly and really seemed to care about my hair concerns. The atmosphere was also really clean with good music. Will definitely be returning for my next service.

Everything was top of the standard! I just recently got my hair done by one of the junior stylists. I filled out a detailed consult form about my hair and went over it with the stylist before I started. Definitely recommend coming here for hair concerns or just to leave with a fabulous wash and style!

JouuJou hair is the BEST... My hair is healthier and it's growing ever since I've been seeing my favorite stylist Janet. Nicky is incredibly knowledgeable. She assessed my hair and gave me a quick lesson on what my hair needs and the result is amazing. Her assistant sorry I didn’t get your name is so gentle and patient when washing and detangling my hair. I also love that they tell you step by step what will happen next.
