Not bad pub fare. My friend and I had the spicy Thai crispy shrimp special as well as the meatloaf and the steak entrees. Note: only one server, but service was decent given that fact. Went on a Thursday around 2pm. Slower, older crowd. Perfect for introverts of all ages uhhh above 19 anyway. Food portions were BIG for the price, steak could be better but it's pub food, not a steakhouse, so pretty much on par. Meatloaf was slightly better than the steak in terms of overall flavour and texture, highly recommend it. Price wise it is average, would recommend if you're in the area for a lunch.
Went here for the first time because we saw their $5 appies between 3-6 pm sign. Had a mango bellini and it was so yummy but not on special. I recommend it though. Had a $4 pint of beer. We also chose the artichoke dip and chips for 1 of our $5 appies. Also had the potatoe skins. The artichoke dip was good but there isn't a lot there so I hope that's a reduced size portion because at full price of $15 it is absolutely not worth it. Their potatoe skins were pretty good but the outside pieces didn't have any bacon and hardly any cheese. They were tasty though. Gave this a 4 stars because everything tasted good. The service wasn't the greatest. We would have had more drinks had they asked us but they didn't come around until after we were done eating and almost ready to go. The place was very busy but they seemed to have enough staff so not sure why we didn't get the greatest service. It wasn't awful just wasn't great. They didn't bring napkins or serving plates as most places do when people are sharing. Other tables had them so figured it was normal to have them there too. We just didn't get great service. I will go again to see if service is better and maybe have a full meal there next time instead of appies.
One of my favorite spots in town! I often go here with to meet up with friends and enjoy a beer and some food. I love their turkey club sandwich and potato wedges! The waitresses have all been attentive and friendly when I've gone there, you people rock!! I would give it a bonus star if I could.
Okay so food is decent and daily specials are awesome. This is your typical pub though. Sticky floors, funny smell and dimly lit. Not a place I frequent by choice; unless invited to something. Ummm location is okay, patio is large and there’s a liquor store attached with a good selection and pricing.
For decades, this used to be the place to go. They had fantastic servers, food, etc. Now, they're eclipsed by most other pubs, restaurants. Food is sub-par, and prices definitely don't reflect the quality. We used to come here several times per month especially for the legendary "prawn night". But it too has really gone down hill.
The wonderful staff at the Jolly Miller and delicious foods. It's close to home for me, excellent service. I feel welcome there, if by chance that I leave drunk. They asked if I needed a taxi for a safe way home, cause I live close enough to walk home. I mentioned that to them in short form. They make sure everyone safe when leaving.
It was super busy, but I've been driving past it for years, and finally went in. It's an amazing home style pub, fantastic food, nice staff, and just a laid back atmosphere
This is seriously the best pub in Chilliwack. I have been here many and am never disappointed. Ashley was an outstanding server. If ever server could be as good as her, I would never eat anywhere else.
Unfortunately I had an awful experience. I came in and was greeted which is the highlight of this. I usually not one to leave reviews unless they are next level incredible or really awful. I was told to seat myself which I happily did on the patio. Saw waitresses coming and going and I was trying to make eye contact to get them to come over which they seemed to avoid After around 20 mins of them coming and going I had to ask a server if I can order a drink unfortunately the same one who greeted me so she would be aware of how long I was waiting. No apology for the wait. I used to serve so I get things can get busy and the heat sucks but customer service includes being aware of when new tables are coming and going. Really disappointed.
Food was very good. Service top notch after leaving a competitor due to lack of service. We had a new waitress who said she was only on her third shift. She was friendly and made suggestions on ordering. Like the Corona on tap on a hot day
