Great food. Classic Itallian fare. Great options and lots of drink options. Some chairs are a little uncomfortable.

This Italian restaurant is bomb! The food are so good, rich in taste and wide in variety. I give it 4 stars because main courses took so long to come out. And if you have children or baby, bring your own high chair coz they do not have one. The highlight that I would recommend you to try is the scallop appetizer.

Food is excellent!! Portions are huge. Only complaint was lack of staff. Our waitress was WONDERFUL but run off her feet. We waited far too long for drinks when we arrived, close to ½ hour. Then took forever to have refills on beverages. There were only 2 girls working and restaurant was very busy. These poor girls were running nonstop all evening. The couple we were there with was not impressed and said they probably wouldn’t return in spite of the great food. Hopefully just a scheduling issue.

Johnny Vino's is hands down the best place in town. My girlfriend and I have worked our way through almost every item on the menu and each time it has been consistently delectable. The wait staff are always inviting and personable, the food is fantastic, and the ambience is amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is quite fairly priced as well, depending on what you order, my girlfriend and I get a main each and a dessert each and it ranges roughly $60. A fair price for how fantastic the food is.

Amazing experience! Great food, atmosphere and service. Firstly, we arrived five minutes before closing after walking George St unsure of where to eat. The staff was gracious enough to still take us. The peach bruschetta was scrumptious - gone in seconds. We also had the special - a land and sea pesto pasta - fantastic. I've made a point during my few months in Peterborough not to eat anywhere twice. Solely because I want to experience as much as possible. This was too good not to have twice. I will be back. Thanks to our server Brook and the chefs!

I won't present you with a long list of all that occurred last night, but just trust me that the service personnel are decent, the wait time for beverages or appetizers is an hour, the food once it arrives is awful, how does it stay open? The answer, is clearly that the people going don't know how to cook, likely are smokers and have no tastebuds and so they assume it's great. Oh and we explained how awful the food was for our party of 3, and understand there was no compensation, everything was billed at full price. We bought very nice wine, and we are people with money, but to not discount even 1 of 3 meals or whatever is something I personally have never experienced in my life. You should be embarrassed, it's the principle of the matter correct? The gesture of a discount isn't about the money, it's about recognizing that you didn't do your job, and showing the customer on some level you care about them, that they had a bad experience that you acknowledge, which leads to your customer perhaps giving you another chance to wow them, and return or at least not say negative things because you have treated them with fairness and respect. Your restaurant should be on Kitchen Nightmares. Due to my experience I will not return, the others won't return in my party, nor will countless others that I will be personally going out of my way to forewarn of just how bad the food is and how the owner or chef has no people skills, doesn't know how to run a business. In case you missed the point, I'm outraged and offended at how inappropriately we were treated. You should be ashamed & embarrassed and learn from my review to fix things. Goodbye.

The food is excellent. On the last Saturday of the month they have Duelling Pianos and the players are fantastic. It is a very festive bar atmosphere on these nights and it is best to go for a late meal and stick around for the fun!

Great servers, excellent food, wonderful atmosphere. The servers were ALL helpful to the table ensuring we never felt neglected. Jess our server was absolutely lovely and made it worth the relatively short wait on a busy Friday night.

Fast, friendly service and excellent food. The appetizer specials of the day were outstanding. Food was hot and delicious. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.
