Decided to try since it was convenient to our location and wasn't disappointed. We were worried after the mixed reviews and when we arrived for a late Saturday lunch at 1:00 the place was almost empty, but the food was fresh and of high quality. The lunch options are a great value and the service was friendly. It's a darker restaurant, with more of a bar feel but still family friendly. Would recommend for a tasty and low key lunch away from the touristy crowds.
I am in town visiting for the holidays and the front desk gave us the recommendation. I was beyond surprised with the quality, presentation and taste of the food the lava shrimp was exceptional. The burger my son ordered was delicious and the large barrel looking beers was very satisfyimg for dad. Over all I was extremely happy with the food and service. Would tell all my friends if they are in the area to stop by and eat here.
We were back for a visit to Sonoma County as we moved away in 2006. We used to eat here all the time my wife had a cravimg for the Blackened chicken alfredo pasta so we came to get it. It was way smaller then ot used to be and tasted horrible in comparison to what we remember. My son did like his hamburger so that was a plus and the fries were great too.
Very nice spot for you and your date, for hanging at the bar, or you and a group of friends to have a high quality meal. The restaraunt is informal. Great for post wine tasting in Sonoma. Prices are reasonable, food is tasty, and you get a lot of it too!
Food can be good.... if you get it before your waitress quits and your food doesn't take 45 mins to spoil and give the entire party food poisoning.
Didn't have nearly enough garlic options. A place with garlic in the name should have more than a couple items with garlic on the menu. The garlic fries were not even close to par with what garlic fries should be. Was a let down to say the least.
It's like a more expensive Applebee's. Servers are really nice but the food for the price doesn't feel worth it to me.

The atmosphere was wonderful and the food fantastic! Love the garlic fries too!
Very wide selection of dishes to choose from. Garlic mashed potatoes are excellent and the bar service was good.
