John Goldhar, MD

I met with Dr Goldhar. He came in within 5 minutes and was patient, kind and helpful. I did not have the experience that others had and I only have nice things to say about this clinic.

First time I came here I waited over an hour, And no apology! Second time i come here i spoke to receptionist and ask her is he going to be late she replied no he's on time! here i am and it's a half an hour over appointment. Why make appointments if you are running late every time. Not good. After seeing him he was rude. After he given me prescription. He stood up.and walked to the door I said I have more questions and he continued to walk to reception to see next patient. Very angry.

I want to write a review to mention how unhelpful, unfriendly and mean of the reception for this clinic. My doctor referred my to this clinic. So I called to make an appointment. In my first call, the reception told me to fax: email my referral form, in order to make an appointment. So I did. Later in the afternoon, I didn't hear back, about 4hrs later, I called back to confirm if my email request was received. The girl checked and confirmed she received my email. Then I ask her if I can make an appointment, she said she has many other things to do, and will handle this when it comes. I told her, it is an urgent matter, and since we are on the phone, can we make an appointment quickly. She said no! And told me if it an emergency then I should go to the hospital . I replied to her. It will still be a socialist and I need to wait to a long time in the emergency room to be seen. I asked her. When is the next appointment roughly speaking. She said end of March. All I want to do was to make an appointment, why is she making it so complicated? Unhelpful and mean?! Don't know how the doctor is like, but the reception is awful. The next day, still no response

Met with Dr. John Goldhar for the first time yesterday. He was reassuring, courteous, kind and answered my questions and concerns. He was also on-time. And his receptionist even offered to make me some tea while I waited for my ride home. Maybe the bad reviews I read prior to my appointment were addressed to his evil twin. Who never appeared!!

The wait was insanity but the doctor was actually one of the nicest most caring doctors I've ever had in my life. I'd recommend this place to anybody I know. I would just let them know that the wait time was an hour and a half for me. haha Honestly though, it was worth it.

Unless you are going for cosmetic treatment, this clinic isn't for you. I was referred to Dr. Goldhar and he misdiagnosed my skin condition for flea bites. Not only that, he never took any sort of proper samples and I always felt rushed in his office. Turns out I have discoid eczema. The help that I received from pharmacists was actually better than what Dr. Goldhar provided. If you are referred here, don't waste your time and try to get a referral elsewhere

This man is dishonest. I went in for routine removal of brown spots, which has always been covered under OHIP with my two previous dermatologists. Dr Goldhar failed to mention that there was a charge, until he was literally burning off the first spot. Imagine my shock when he said "normally I charge $150 for this, but for you, $125." I told him I was not impressed with his last minute diclosure, and all he could come up with was " I TOLD you there was a charge!" Livid, disgusted.

I was referred by my family doctor to this clinic. He looked at me for 1 min, was rude and diagnosed Rosacea. He sent me a cream and pills, it s been more than 6 months and the condition has worsen. On top of that, I've tried to call to re visit the dermatologist, they never answer their phone.

What a waste. I’ve given this facility too much of my money and time to get so little in return. I’ve been calling this clinic for over a month trying to get my medication refilled after numerous promises, and giving them my credit card. Incompetent staff who can’t follow up and get the job done, and this includes Medcan. This is people lives and skin we are talking about....I look forward to a new referral for a different clinic in 2018.

This place is a joke. I came here at 11:40am for my 11:45 am appointment and waited for over an hour before the doctor greeted me. This is on a busy workday. Do not come to this place if you want your time to be respected.
