Joe Tomato's Restaurant

Joe Tomatoes in Owen Sound was a great experience. Server was friendly, had good menu suggestions. Our drinks were refilled without asking, something I appreciate. Water was offered right away. Very good experience! Mushroom soup is amazing.

Oh boy do we love Joe Tomatoes. The food is always excellent along with the service. This is one of the best places to eat in Owen Sound. They got wing night on Thursday night, prime rib on Saturdays, what else could you ask for? Seriously, if you haven't been to Joe Tomatoes lately, you should go. Plus it's right next to the Galaxy Cinemas. Go for dinner before you go to a movie!

We are traveling from the states and ate here last night. It was so good. The best we've ate on our trip so far. We highly recommend it. The wings and tortilini soup were wonderful. Great service too!

Food is good, when they actually want to be open. Closed at 9 on Friday’s and Saturday's? Offer half price appetizers after hockey games? Bit of a joke, won’t be back tried one too many times.

Friendly service. The dining room is in need of attention, it's looking a little worn. It was very quiet at lunch with only a few tables of diners. Varied menu offerings to choose from.Food: 3/5

Ate here on a Sat night at 7pm, server was very nice. Ordered deep fried pickles as the app, was basic out of a box deep fried, was bit greasy. The fried pickles were not worth the cost. Food came fairly fast, I had 1lbs of wings, wife had a roadhouse burger. I liked my wings the taste was good and the size of wings were ok. Wife liked her burger said it was cook very well and was juicy. Drinks were clean tasting and well made. Had a beer and a barrie doll for the wife. Price was ok maybe a little high but could be worse all in all. One thing to add the server was great at the start but failed to come back and ask if food was ok and if we needed anything.

Feb 14 2023... Terrible Customer Service We Bring our Family there 2 times a year for 8 years now and the customer service we recieved was horrible 6pm at night tried to get a table was given no opportunity to come back later when asked for a table many tables empty that could have been put together... called and the same answer except they plain well said only 2 people tables available the entire night...as if you know the same ppl will be there till closed also all the pub style tables had 1 occupent at them which makes no sense move a one person who is just drinking to a table for 2 and let a family of 8 have the big table would have been more of a sensible idea...oh well this was our last try with your resturant turning a large family away that is like throwing $140 away...good luck with your sporadic opening and closing whenever suits ya and your terrible customer service! You lost our family will have to goto the bigger cities where customers are appreciated!

Had a super yummy veggie wrap for dinner. Great price, great atmosphere, and kind staff. It was the perfect meal before going to the theatre.

We had trouble finding a restaurant that was open without a lineup at 8 p.m. on a Thursday. We came across Joe Tomatoes. So happy we did. Service was terrific. Everyone was happy with their meals and the Carribean Salad was delicious. The coconut chicken should be a dish on its own. We will definitely be back.

Came here fairly late on a Sunday evening. Ordered the Cajun chicken wrap, not sure about the other reviews, found the portions to be okay. The wrap itself was okay, the menu said it was spicy...maybe I have been exposed to Asian spices but I didn't get spice from it. I will say the fries were pretty good, crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy potato on the inside. I also tried my husband's San Antonio wrap....once again mediocre at best. Will I come here again... probably not.
