My first visit and based in this experience it won’t be the last. My friend and I shared a pizza and a salad. We were fortunate enough to get an outside table with view of falls. The sound of the falls meant raised voices were necessary for conversation but we were happy to adapt.nThe pizza, and even the crust, were exceptional, arugula salad greens a bit tired and could have been fresher but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The salad was saved by Watermelon Radish strips and pear poached in red wine, served with sugared pecans. It was a very tasty salad that I would order again. The server, a very pleasant and helpful young woman, made our meal relaxed and enjoyable. All the staff seemed happy and helpful. Added bonus, and much appreciated, was the fact that the manager came out to enquire about our satisfaction. Of course we were pleased to tell him we were enjoying our meal. We didn’t need dessert and only drank water but I imagine an evening meal there would be a very nice outing with wine and dessert making it an evening to remember. I am so glad another friend recommended this restaurant.
Loved this place! Booked ahead online and reservation system super easy. Theresa was our server and she was absolutely fantastic,gave great menu suggestions as it was our first time there. She recommended the fresh squeezed lemonade and it was so refreshing and not full of sugar. The bruschetta was the best we've ever had! Pizza was good too, next time I'd ask for less cheese but that is a personal preference. Beautiful restored old mill and fantastic views. Go check this place out!
Busy Italian style restaurant. Focus is on Pizza and Pasta. You could become delirious trying to pick a pizza. It'll be good. Creative Pasta dishes. Great service! Don't be in a rush. the kitchen is small, but the servers are wonderfully friendly. Samantha helped our experience go from plain eating to smiles and banter.
I love how they turned a man unsuspecting basement into a nice restaurant. The dark dungeon vibe was well decorated with bright lights, beautiful wooden beams and red brick. The staff was friendly though some of them seemed distant and disconnected as if worried about something. Except for one older gentleman who carried a big smile and had a very good and positive vibe. The food was good. I had the Montana pizza with ham and meat balls. It was good but I wouldn’t have it again because the dish tasted a bit too spicy for me. NeXT time I will try something else. I would give it 5 stars if the younger staff were a bit more friendly and if it weren’t for a nagging fly that wouldn’t leave me eat in peace. Overall it was a good experience.
Excellent atmosphere sitting on outdoor patio is an experience by itself watch the water coming down through many layers of rocks. Good service, good food. This is one of beautiful Ontario towns I would visit again and again.
