My husband and I ate at Joe's for dinner last night. We enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast! Such a nice "family" feeling and the food is great! Their burgers are mouth- watering and I had a pineapple cider that was to die for. My husband had the Reuben and onion rings- he said it was great! I highly recommend eating here.

Love to small town atmosphere of this place. We've been here before and have always had good service, but the last time we were there (Labor Day 2017) I thought we were going to have to walk out. We waited for what seemed an eternity for someone to wait on us as two of the wait staff seemed to ignore us. Thankfully, another waitress noticed us and asked if we had been waited on. We told her we were ready to leave and she apologized profusely. She got our food right out to us and even offered us free dessert. , Because of her, we will be coming back again. I wish I had gotten her name for this review.

Great food, a bit pricey. I had the Reuben, and the used real corned beef brisket, not lunch meat. Food quality was awesome for what we had. Wife had a slice apple with grilled cheese, nothing I would eat, but she loved it. 4 stars due to the prices. Service was great, no complaints there. We will be back.

A friendly little restaurant in a quaint little town (Empire). We got there around 6pm on a Friday. We only waited 5 minutes for a table even though the place was full. Our server was wonderful. We both had the French dip, which was spectacular. Just a great experience.

Found this place on Google maps after touring north of Empire. Yes, the prices are high, and not all the food is top-shelf, but staff was (at least when we were there) friendly and responsive. Burgers were super-yummy. Homemade root beer wasn't highly carbonated - but it often isn't - and it was REALLY good. All in all, a good time and a nice find in an area without a lot of choices.
