One of the best HK canteen style foods in Richmond. Never disappoints, great quality ingredients, authentic taste. The black pepper sauce was prepared separately for each order, best texture and flavor ive had. Food court price, but restaurant quality. Awesome!
We go here every week for the noodles: the beef brisket and beef tendon & tribe noodles. The noodle is just perfect, broth is light, and the portion is just right in my opinion. If you come here at the weekend, or during peek hours, prepare to wait in line. The chicken rice is also very good, but personally I prefer other locations
I came here because a week prior i ordered peanut butter and condensed milk toast and the peanut butter and condensed milk was absolutely oozing. I made take out and It was so nice and thick. Today, I came back and was massively disappointed in the change. Barely any PB and condensed milk in there at all. Not sure why there is no consistency. And paid for 2 more take outs but I was not offered a refund or even offered to make me a new one. I left the food with them and didn't care eating it.
The lady at the cashier was super nice and polite. Chicken was tender and the skin was crispy, the beef was tender and juicy. Both were cooked to perfection. Also super cheap for the amount of food they give. Also got the hk milk tea with this. Sweetness was perfect.
Ordered the baked pork cutlet rice and the beef satay noodles. The pork cutlet rice had lots of pork in it and a lot of rice in it but the flavours weren't to our liking. Wasn't overly salty but just felt like it didn't taste like it was baked. As for the beef satay noodles, we were told to add water when we get home to ensure the noodles don't get bloated in the car ride there. The beef was tender but lacked satay flavour. It was also a little bit on the saltier side. Overall I wouldn't recommend the two dishes that I tried but I would definitely want to try the other items on the menu.
SUPER NICE and efficient front counter and chef. Great deal on breakfast before 11:00. Great latte HK Style Milk Tea. Everything on the breakfast cooked just right . Tried the delicious Baked Pork Chop with Tomato Sauce on Rice . The pork chop fried just right before baking and the sauce mixed with fresh tomatoes.
The drink is okay but they have VERY BAD example of HK food in metro Vancouver. I ordered baked chicken & pork with rice. The chicken is cold and the pork is not deep fried before putting in the rice. The sauce is mediocre and other ingredients come out of canned food for the most part. Just terrible! This place lowers the standard of general HK food in Richmond. Please improve your food and avoid this place if possible.
Finally tried this shop at Admiralty Centre in Richmond! I would say they are 70% alike with Hong Kong style food!! It’s good to change my friend’s bad impression towards foodcourt What surprised me is that they got at least four tea pots for making the drinks, feels like professional. Overall cost us $23 for all this! It’s absolutely a fair price with good quality! Nice try and will go to visit again~
Unfriendly place for people who are not Chinese. I got my number and sat on the table right in front of the store, the lady only called the number in madarin. I understand some people can not speak English fluently but I made eye contact with her few times but she completely ignored me and did not say anything. I waited for few more minutes because i don’t want to bother people if my order is not ready yet and came to ask her about my order. The thing is I am not even ask yet, and she immediately pointed the order on the counter that been there for a while. What the point of keep repeating the order in madarin when she knew i don’t understand and sat right in front of her? This place just gives me bad vibe. Not recommend for people who are not Chinese definitely if you are Asian.
Food is at prices that you can't find anywhere anymore. Big portions and food is good! I went around noon and it was very busy but the staff took my order and was very nice!
