This restaurant appears to be a local favourite, and at the time I was here, especially for retirees who are always looking for a good value. The prices are very reasonable, and the food all seems homemade. We had a roast beef on a bun with meat from a local butcher, according to the menu and a bacon cheeseburger. It would have been nice to see better cheese on the cheeseburger, but this isn't going to alter my 5-star review. The fries were fantastic. The next time I'm in I'm going to ask what they do to them before they get fried. And the pie! OMG you have to have their pie! All homemade, of course.
The menu has a great selection of items listed within it all of which are well priced. When you walk into this small, quaint country restaurant is simple yet inviting with delicious food and outstanding service.Food: 5/5
Took the missus here for the first time. We both enjoyed the food. Quiet place, reasonable prices. The pie was excellent. We shall be back.
Stopped in because of the pie reference below. They were almost completely sold out of pie except for "raisin pie". I guess everyone's last choice. So I settled for the last choice, cuz damn it I stopped for pie I'm going to have a piece. Anyway I could tell from the crust they know how to make a great pie. Perfect level of flakiness. I will return for lunch or dinner but earlier so the have more pie choices.
Classic old diner. It isn't trying to replicate an old style diner - it IS an old diner. Tiny place - just 7 tables. Food and service was good. Popular place with the locals. Picnic table outside for take-out/picnic/coffee. I would eat there again.
Super cute diner in the middle of nowhere. Just went for a coffee and quick visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Small town feel!
The perfect lunch spot for good quiet meal and service with a smile. The homemade pie is fantastic, and if you want a whole pie, you need to call a day in advance. I'll definitely make a stop at Jim's again.
Enjoyed the crispy French fries and local beef hamburger. Home made pies were very nice warmed with ice cream.
Great little diner. Friendly staff and great food. A hidden gem
Amazing food and good service. You can sit inside or if the weather is great there are some picnic tables outside. Salads, burgers, Pie and so much more on the menu and everything is great.
