I love these restaurants, all of them, even their "sister" restaurant pita house. This time i went, i don't know if the owner was out sick or what, but the waitress was incompetent, had multiple dirty tables, telling customers " find a clean spot". Running around not accomplishing anything. The food was poorly made, bland, and didnt look pretty as usual. Everything was different all the way down to the soggy microwaved pita bread, bland hummus and cabbage. I was very disappointed. Like i said i love these restaurants, but the down town location fell on its face that day, i hope it was just a fluke not something permanent.

I was disappointed in my entire meal. The Turkish coffee was watery and weak. The hummus was bland and flavorless to me. I sent my lamb shwarma back because it only had flicks of lamb and mostly veggies. Maybe, it is a hit with WA locals because there is nothing to compare it to. I lived most recently in the Middle East for almost 10 yrs and LOVE the food thru out the region. I was excited when I was driving past the restaurant; but unfortunately it didn't take me back to my happy place!
