Pros: nice setting, interesting building. Staff was friendly. Cons: very loud. Food was horrible. Wife ordered salmon. It was served a bit dry and on a bed of something that she said looked like bird poop (she said it tasted about the same). My steak was ordered medium, but served well. Steak sauce was terrible and should have been served on the side, rather than all over the steak. Would not recommend to anyone looking for fine dining food.

Walter the manager, made us feel like we were his family. Excellent staff, great atmosphere, and beautiful decor. The food is the best we have had in Vancouver. We had frequented this place years ago, but the food was not nearly as good. Our table ordered the feast, which was excellently prepared, and fun not knowing what was next.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. Walter was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the history of the area, and our server Megan was wonderful to us. The food was incredibly delicious, making for an overall wonderful time. If you're looking for good food, great atmosphere, and a place rich in history, this is perfect.

The food was incredibly delicious, making for an overall wonderful time. If you're looking for good food, great atmosphere, and a place rich in history, this is perfect.

Love this place. Have eaten here twice. First time vegetarian sandwich. Super good. Love how the grilled the open part of the bread. Second time had the Grant Burger.. this thing was HUGE. Shared with my sister and we couldn't finish it. Fries are good and crispy shoe string cut. Will eat here as a rule.
