A true hidden gem of Yakima. You'll be happily surprised to learn this Inn is more like a steak house with a breakfast menu. The staff is friendly, the cooks are efficient, and the special of the day is usually what you wanted before you even knew you wanted it. They have their own signature seasoning and the meat comes from a local butcher shop. If you're looking for great prices, generous portions, and have an unrequited love for gravy, don't miss the chance to stop in. Family owned and operated since 1946, and they still have the register to prove it.
Been in Yakima for 20 years and have never been to this place. Food was good with fast service. Staff was friendly and helpful. I heard their steaks are awesome. I've been here twice for lunch recently, but will do dinner soon.Food: 4/5
Just ate Breakfast there, Food was awesome! Very good service, waitresses were friendly and on top of things! Food was made very quickly and hot and fresh, If you looking for a sure thing for good home cooking, then go to jeans! Very reasonably priced and good portions! BACKSTORY: My Peterbilt broke down. Got a hotel at Best Western. Asked the staff at the Dealership where I could get a good steak outside of the prices at Outback. The gentleman referred me to Jeans Cottage Inn MY VISIT: As soon as I walked in I was greeted & seated. The energy here is Awesome and the girls who bus, Take orders and serve all work together in a mind blowing fashion. I ordered the 16 oz t-bone steak. The potatoes were perfectly soft and mouthwatering. My steak was the mouth melting medium rare. This spot gets 5 stars from me for these reason 1. Hospitality cute friendly girls 2. Cleanliness which is next to Godliness 3. Portion sizes it could feed small village 4. Pricing money left over for a pk of smokes 5. Ambience the small mom & pop feel I'm from Los Angeles and this is why I truck drive. To find and frequent these hidden Gems . Yes, I will be back I need to try that deep fried French toast
The staff was okay. Their salads were a joke. My daughter has kidney issues and is a pescatarian so she got a salad. The food honestly wasnt good. The steaks were okay. The best part is getting a steak bone to take home to my dogs.
Jean's was great. The food was perfect and the wait staff was excellent. We even picked up a bottle the salad seasonings.Food: 5/5

The food here was simple home style food, but it was extremely tasty, and for a good affordable price. For being a simple steakhouse, the steak was cooked perfectly, not over seasoned, but still one of the better steaks I have had in a long time. My wife and I got our food way faster than we expected to get it, and were able to get out with a bill that was under what we expected it was going to be, with quality higher than we were charged for. Highly recommend this establishment.
JCI Legendary place for breakfast. Country styled food . Staff friendly. Awesome place to eat . Wish they were open on Sundays. Food: 5/5
