Well worth the detour off the Interstate! Fast, friendly service with awesome burger and fries. Very clean, very resonable price and Kitty and Liz we're very friendly and professional! We'll be back next summer on the bikes.

Burgers are good and cheap although the bartender (Cindy) was very rude. I was there at ten o'clock on a Friday night, when I asked her if they were still cooking her response was rude and made it obvious she did not want to cook for us, I ordered anyway. I then asked Cindy what was wrong with the gambling machine that was turned off, and her response was "what machine? it must be turned off" with a rude attitude. Hey Cindy your tip represented the service you provided. I own a small business and any employee of mine that treated my customers like that would be gone. Cindy you can't just turn off the machine because the IGB will fine the owner $5000, so next time just be honest and say the machine is waiting for someone to fix it and put a sign on it. Great little bar with a bad employee.

I'm from Chicago, and driving through in the middle of nowhere....came across this GEM with a packed parking lot. amazing hamburgers...they take a giant meatball - fresh and press it down flat on the grill, cook it perfect, with all the toppings ....and a huge mound of fries.....I had a triple - AMAZING. It really does beat just about anything in Chicago..and that is saying a lot. It will take a bit of time to get your order when they are busy, but it is worth it.....BEEF eaters delight.

Not a friendly crew. The worse place. I wasn't happy at all. I will never come back. And I will let people know how bad it was. I have never seen service that bad. I have been managing a bar and restaurant for 22 years. And this place would not be ran this way.

Great small town bar. They also have great (smash) burgers.
