Great bar to relax, tasty food and attentive service!
I met a group of friends here a few months ago during the tail-end of the NFL season on a Sunday. There was s pretty nice crowd, and the place was fairly packed. This is your fairly standard "sports bar", even if they don't necessarily identify as a sports bar. Drinks, bar food, pull tabs, tvs everywhere, dart boards, etc. Nothing against sports bars, but that's the type of place to expect. Our group played quite a few games of cricket, and our server looked just like Jay Cutler, which we didn't mind telling him. Later there was a nuisance at the bar, which turned into a screaming match among the customers, which resulted in Jay Cutler bouncing one of the regulars. I got the vibe that that type of thing happens quite a bit here.
This is Maple Grove staple. It is obviously not a place to go when you want gourmet food. However you can get cheap drinks here and decent service. It's your typical dive bar, which if that's your thing. Then this is your place, and you'll most likely enjoy the crowd and darts!
Waiters changed 3 times in one hour. Last waiter said he was being cut, so he asked us to close our tabs and let us know someone would be be by to help and no one came around. We have been waiting now for more than 30 minutes, and still, no one has come by to check on us. The food was just ok. Don't plan on coming back here again. Very dissappointed.
Very dog friendly on the patio awesome food great atmosphere and they got darts and you don't have to wear a effing mask anymore
Huge menu gives me plenty of options. Friendly staff but sometimes difficult getting serviced when it is slow and all the waiters/waitresses are sent home. Big beers and decent amount of seating, it would be nice if the patio didn't have the huge number of smokers. I am sure to be back as this bar is an excellent spot to people watch.
