Jay's Drive In

Here we go with another review of another GREAT Root Beer Stand. Jay's Drive In, Oregon, Illinois has a very unique personality. The Root Beer is dark, full bodied, and sweet. It's a style of Root Beer that can be enjoyed by all ages . I recommend icing your brew if you like your Root Beer a little more on the lighter, "commercial" side. The food here is GREAT ! Try the Pork Tenderloin or the drive in style Bar-B-Que. Everything I have ever had here has always tasted top notch. Everything good that everyone else says about the Ice Cream is TRUE. In fact, I think I'll take a road trip down there RIGHT NOW !!

Cute little drive-in, 50's style. You can order from your car and have it brought out, or you can go in. The inside is full of retro decorations. The food was good and the ice cream was too.

Great food at even better prices.. Good friendly service.. Cool 50's diner decor n music to match.. Delicious deserts n shakes.. Different flavors not ur traditional ones unless that's what ur looking for.. Overall great experience.. A must visit!!

I absolutely love the malts here! I especially enjoy the fact that they have puppy cones for the dog. I just wish the food was a liyyleore consistent. The burgers are good but nothing special. The cheese curds are the same way. If you're looking for great service and delicious malts check this place out. I would give these guys a 3.5 and will keep trying other things on the menu. I would love to be able to update this rating!
