Jay's Drive-In

We've never been there. Just saw what they r doing to help their neighborhood after the devastation from Fiona on The National. How can u not give them 5 stars. What a wonderful family! SUPPORT JAY'S anyway u can!!

I ordered a club house. There was no tomato and was missing the bacon. My fries were not properly cooked. I took my order back where I was staying which was 25 minutes away. No way I was going to drive back to return my food and complain. I sucked it up and ate it. I work very hard for my money and when I put trust in ordering at any restaurant I expect to get what I order. My friend said call and at least complain. I complained and the lady I talked to was rude and said bring the order back and they will replace it. I explained I was in Reserve and it wasn’t that easy to jump in the car run back to Glacé bay. Then she said then what are you calling here for and complaining to me over the phone if your not willing to bring the order back? I then got defensive and said listen here lady drop the attitude and do what your paid to do. She then said excuse me I am the owner. I then said … with a attitude like that you won’t be in business very long. Then she hung up on me. Go figure.

Jay's is a very popular restaurant for Glace Bay residents and beyond. The interior has undergone significant improvements but the food remains as delicious as ever. The chicken is excellent along with a serving of French fries. And staff have the traditional Cape Breton friendliness. Small but serves up tasty food in an exceptionally clean environment.

What generous people to give away free food for hours and hours while people were in need after hurricane Fiona left many without food. These people are what Canada is about, loving your neighbour. Thank you Leo, Carole, Rebecca and Katie for your work, cost, enery, time and hearts. What a blessing you are to Glace Bay and Canada.

Such awesome people, fast, friendly and delicious. Heard about their support for the hurricane workers and had to give them a try, glad we did!

Excellent place for chicken in Glace Bay, we had a small get together for my dad and this was his request. Order arrived, hot and fresh. Everyone commented on how large the pieces of chicken were, excellent value and quality of food…

I wanted to try there pizza and could not stop at just one item so fried chicken as well. Chicken blows KFC out of the water big pieces and tasty not chopped up and you have no idea what part of the chicken it is. So 5 star's on the chicken now the pizza gold cheese with horyles pepperoni it was very. Tasty and a good amount of toppings I give it 4 because I tried it cold the next day and not dried out.

The homemade chicken soup and clubhouse is the best choice I made ordering food Ina while is a great anytime of the day meal and great afternoon hangover cure

One day I might try the ribs... but I'm so addicted to the chicken, I might not. Best chicken on the island!
