Janousek Florist has been delivering flowers to Omaha for over 100 years

Story

Now in our fourth generation, Janousek Florist originally opened in 1913 to serve the people of Omaha with the freshest flowers possible. Since then, we've been delivering to the entire Omaha Metro area with our own fleet of delivery vehicles and pride ourselves on accommodating our customer’s requests. Our family, coupled with expert floral designers will be more than happy to help design the perfect gift for your special occasion.

I was about to order flowers from an online nationwide seller but decided to buy midtown/local so I stopped by Janousek. The lady helping me was great. I mentioned how I was 'going to' try the online flower seller but I didn't because I'm standing here now. Her whole attitude changed. She started bad-mouthing the online seller to an uncomfortable degree, it was awkward. She went ON AND ON about how their flowers don't last, they wilt in no time at all blah blah... It was quite embarrasing. I suffered through it, got the plant/flower arrangement and paid a good amount for it but I was okay with it despite the unprofessional bad-mouthing rant. No kidding... the plant/flower arrangement was wilting the next day and two days later it was dead and brown. It was well cared for by the way. Since then I've ordered online and I've yet to see a bouquet/arrangement not last 2 weeks. I was just amazed at how vocal the lady at Janosek was and how wrong she turned out to be. I know it was probably a fluke and I got the one out of a million that was sick or something but it was such a negative experience for me.

Ordering online was super easy, the arrangement was delivered the next day, and the quality was great! Would highly recommend.

Extremely creative and helpful. We needed multiple arrangements delivered for a reception in May, and they surpassed our expectations. It was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend then.

They were able to accommodate my last minute request very quickly, and helped to make my wife's day with a gorgeous arrangement!
