The family who run the store and cantina are so friendly and kind! They have a good selection of food, decent lcbo selection plus they serve kawartha dairy ice cream.
Writing a very similar review for Janetville Cantina as I did for Royal Garden Food Mart... 5-star rating for the store itself, has everything you need and an impressive LCBO section. The store also serves food... pizza, wings, burgers, etc. We recently tried the pizza and wings. This is a corner store, so didn't have high expectations. But surprisingly the taste of the pizza was pretty good. Wings were very good, deep fried, good sauces. Janetville is somewhat rural, so it's great to have a local fast food option. Of the two local stores, both places have great wings. As for the pizza, I preferred Royal Garden. Janetville Cantina's did taste good, but the dough was very tough and chewy. Either way, if you're in the mood for pizza and wings but don't want to pay a fortune in delivery charges, Janetville Cantina is not a bad option.
Friendly staff! I didn't know that they were on summer hours, I thought I was going to be too late but they're open till 9pm. The guy on was super nice and friendly. Easy to find what you're looking for as well. It was super clean in there which was nice to see, because some stores just don't seem to care about that anymore. Totally recommend them to anyone!
Let me tell you, this place came in clutch; since the storm + victoria day, we went all over looking for alcohol, we looked EVERYWHERE high and low, that’s when we went into Janetville and found our saviors, the man running it was so nice and made it such a fun trip. Thanks again for keeping me and my family going.
