I went two times to this place in 2 days the veal parm sandwich was quite good and filling. However the second time I tried the sausage and hot pepper pizza and was very disappointed. The sauce although it tasted like fresh tomatoes was very bland. There was also hardly any cheese at all on it and very little sausage and I did not even like the crust. When I was finished there was so much crust with this pizza that I had a great big pile of it left over on my plate. It was an $18 pizza and not worth it at all they need to step up their game with the pizzas
Review Update *************** In true form owner would rather spar with customers than delight them. Avoid this place. I had my concerns when booking a table here. The food reviews seemed mixed, the service reviews were generally positive, but the owner’s responses were unacceptable. I was especially shocked regarding the burnt pizza review and that the owner insisted that next time they show a picture of the box to prove it was actually from this restaurant. Wow. Regardless, we gave it a try to support something local. The service was outstanding. I think our server’s name was Tracey. The food was good. However, upon finishing our main course my wife felt very ill. We left the restaurant in a hurry, leaving our wine and not staying for coffee or desert. She was sick for a little over a day. We had shared many of the food items, with the exception of her main course. I called back to the restaurant when I got home to warn them that there might be something wrong with that item. They assured me that it was made fresh that day and others had eaten it. Two days later I called back and discussed the experience with one of the staff. I suggested that the only way I was going to get my wife back to the restaurant would be if they offered her a free entree. The staff checked with the owner and it was flatly refused. Their offer was to send me education on how the dish was made. No surprise and confirmed my concerns about the owner. We will not be back. Tracey, we will watch for you at another restaurant and gladly book a table in your section.
Had an amazing meal here this weekend with my daughter. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks! We had homemade ravioli and also the veal, both were superb! Excellent customer service, our waitress Tracey was very attentive and knowledgeable. The service was fantastic! We highly recommend going if you haven't yet. We will be back for sure.
Last evening we had a fabulous time at Che Figata. Four of us met there for dinner and were warmly greeted. The food was delicious. The wine suggested by Tracey, our super server, was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant very highly. Roberto and Tracey created a wonderful experience for us. Thanks so much.
We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. To start, it was very loud inside the restaurant. Our orders were taken promptly-drinks, apps and even the main course, as they mentioned they like to stay ahead of schedule. Drinks came quickly and apps came out at a reasonable time. We did receive complimentary shots from the bar after voicing our long wait for the main course. Our main course arrived almost 50 minutes after. The ravioli was served slightly warm and pasta was very sticky. Portion small. The veal Parmesan did come out hot and was good overall. Overall I would NOT go back to eat at this restaurant. We were very disappointed with the food and especially the long wait! The owner was socializing with the same two guests all evening and was not attentive with any of his staff or other guests. Having tried various restaurants in both Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, we will not be coming back to this one.
New spot with a delicious menu of fresh Italian fare that will make you want to return again and again. The Frito Misto melted in my mouth. Home made Canoli and Tiramisu - yum. Must visit!
Our family if 5 travelled to the restaurant to celebrate our son’s birthday. We were greeted and sat at our reserved table right away. The waitress came over to help us with our orders. You have to start with their bruschetta! Their recipe is like no other. The waitress answered our questions about the menu items and we all ordered. Our meals arrived and everyone was impressed with the choices. Their fresh pasta was wonderful and all ingredients were plentiful. They do have a great drink and wine selection if you want to indulge. I have never heard of an”espresso martini” but since I love coffee, I ordered one. It was delicious. All of us were to full to have desert but they do have a lovely selection to choose from. The prices for the meals are a little expensive but you do get your money’s worth. It is definitely worth the drive to Che Figata’s.
Absolute hidden gem in Bobcaygeon. The food at this spot is a cut above and the atmosphere is great! If you are looking for a legitimate dining experience Che Figata is a must try while in the Bobcaygeon area. The owner Roberto puts his personal passion for food into all the dishes on the menu but the calamari salad and brushetta are a unique twist on common appetizers that you can't afford not to taste. Food - 5/5 Atmosphere - 5/5 - Patio seating available Cocktails - 5/5 - Great wine list and cocktail menu is exquisite.
The food was delicious and our waitress, Selena, was incredible. The customer service was truly amazing and I would absolutely go back and recommend this to anyone in the area! I have 3 young kids and this was definitely a kid-friendly atmosphere, but with the added Italian class and charm. Also, great wine selection!
