I recently tried the $16 lunch special at Jane Bond BBQ, which I picked the PO' boy brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw, with a Island Sweet Tea as a drink. Let’s dive into the details!nThe star of the meal was undoubtedly the brisket—smoked to perfection with a rich, smoky flavor that was absolutely fantastic. However, the bun was a bit too hard for my taste; a softer bun would have made this sandwich flawless. The coleslaw was another highlight, quite saucy and generously portioned, which I appreciated. My friend opted for the French fries instead of coleslaw, which were crispy and well-cooked, though they reminded us of Costco fries.nNow, onto the drink—sadly, the Islands Sweet Tea was the most disappointing part. It lacked the quality of the original sweet tea I remembered and loved from years back. I’d recommend sticking with a regular soft drink instead.nWhile the price point of $16 felt a bit steep just for a sandwich and a side, the quality of the brisket could almost justify the cost. Jane Bond BBQ offers a very friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, ideal for enjoying on a nice day. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the cleanliness was top-notch—from well-kept dining areas to clean utensils and a handy sauce station with little towelettes for sticky fingers.nOverall, Jane Bond BBQ delivers where it counts with their impeccable brisket and welcoming vibe.
So the reason I prefer fast food places or ordering online is because you don’t need to wait for your waiter to bring you the menu, then accept your order and to bring your order and then your waiter will come to you at least a few times to ask how everything was and then you need to wait for a bill. I selected Jane Bond barbecue place for my husband‘s birthday dinner because you can order on the counter then pick up your order by yourself and pay whenever you want Without waiting. Which is ideal for us. We were lucky to have a table for two in the end of the restaurant. I like the simple style of this place Also, I really enjoyed bourbon iced tea. It was great. I preview menu before going to this place, so already knew what I will order Jane’s plate. The food was not bad. We were super hungry and still cannot finish the plate2 of us. I liked the brisket the most And my husband enjoyed pulled pork. Also, the garlic bun was really good as well as coleslaw and fries. From the downsides, I want to admit that chicken thighs and beef ribs were reheated and, of course, you can feel it in the taste. The barbecue sauces make the reheated meat taste little bit better, but you need to try different of them to understand which will work best for different kind of meat . Overall, it was nice experience. The person accepting orders and payments and shouting your name when your order is readyJane? is very nice, feels simple and not annoyingly annoying like some workers can be , when they try to kill you with their kindness. You can feel when person just acting friendly and not trying to impress you. One day, I definitely will be in a mood to return there for a dinner.
Returned from a Texas vacation and was hankering for some BBQ. Wasn't sure if my expectations would be met, however I was pleasantly surprised. I was immediately grealeted with a friendly smile and was informed that the 2.00 rib promotion was on.nnI easily ordered a bunch of ribs with a side of 'slaw. When I got my order I was also impressed with their BBQ sauce on tap, so I had to try each sauce. I was so happy, when my ribs arrived and it was fall off the bone tender.nnI was so happy, I will return for other items with glee
Staff is just amazing, they guide you in case you are not sure about your options; thanks for that!nBrisket, pork, or chicken, all they are delicious and melt-in your-mouth. Sweet potato fries are just perfect, crispy and with a great taste, last but not least, best corn bread ever! Please open a branch in Vancouver, it'll be great to have some of this awesome taste there
A friend and I came for dinner, the ladies were super spunky, helpful and friendly! The food was delicious the best brisket I've ever had the pulled pork is awesome, my friend loved the cornbread, I'm unfortunately gluten free but almost every meat option was safe! And the taquito though not guaranteed GF but made with corn was awesome!! Delish! Mmm yum, hit the BBQ spot for sure. The environment is super interactive and fun. Go, enjoy!
