Jaks Public Pharmacy

Very friendly staff and unbeatable prices on the supplements I buy there. I had a Duodenal Switch in BG 14 years ago and I keep going back for my calcium supplements. Sadly they gave me some bad advice about my vitamin A and D a couple years back and it caused me to be deficient for quite a while. The pharmacist told me that the new stuff they had in stock was indeed water soluble when, in truth, it was not. So I don’t buy that there anymore. Otherwise they’re great.

JAKS Pharmacy is my #1 Pharmacy. I am amazed with their low prices. If you haven't compared prices yet you need to. We switched and have saved up to 50 percent on some scripts. Staff is amazing! Just like a small town pharmacy. "They treat you like family"

This is by far the best pharmacy in BG! No long wait and such friendly service! I highly recommend them!

I loved Jaks when I lived in BG. They were always incredibly helpful and nice and after a few refills they'd know what you needed just by your name when you called, and recognized me as soon as I walked in. Bonus: the price without insurance (if anything you need is not covered by insurance) is really, really reasonable. Definitely the best pharmacy in BG, hands-down.

My daughter has had a rough start to life. I work hard to make sure she has everything she needs. I have to take time off of work to get her to her doctor appointments and that takes money out of my pay check. I went into Jaks with a script for a nebulizer. Seeing I had insurance they kindly pointed me in the direction of a Medical Supply store that accepted insurance. I went there only to be told that they would need MORE paper work from the Doctor and that it would most likely be 3 days before I could have the neburlizer. When I asked if how much it would be to pay out of pocket to get it that day they told me a price that was 8x of what Jaks had told me. I left on the edge of tears and returned to Jaks. I informed them of what happened and told them I would take one of their nebulizers. When I was called to the counter I took out my wallet and the woman told me it was free of charge. I hugged her so hard I almost hugged the life out of her. Thank you, Thank you so much! My little girl went to bed tonight breathing so much better and coughing less. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We will be long time customers!
