Jake's Roofing Ltd

Our roof is done and we are delighted. Due to the fact that the pitch of our roof wasn't steep enough we were in a potion where the most suitable option was a torch on roof, not one we were thrilled about. Having said that though, I have to say that the job they did was amazing. There was a large crew to remove our old roof and throughout the whole time they were here, they were a pleasure to have around. No plants were damaged and for the amount they had to remove, the area around the house was kept very tidy. Ryan and Shaun were the two men who did most of the work on our roof with Gaelin joining them whenever an extra pair of hands were needed. Everyday they showed up on time, a smile on their face and a warm good morning. I know they knew I was worried about how the roof was going to look and I know they did their extra best to make sure it was as perfect as they could make it. Bob and I both are extremely happy with the results and I'd like once again to say a huge THANK YOU for a job well done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jakes Roofing to anyone, especially when he has such hard working, talented people working for him. These guys are the best!!

I would definitely recommend Jake's. We have used them on 2 occasions. 1st time was flawless on a skylight install. Second time was a repair. We had a minor concern regarding invoicing on the second job. After I expressed my concerns to Jake, he immediately addressed the issue and suggested a solution that I felt was more than fare. We will be using Jake's in the future.

Jake's Roofing Ltd. (on Bowlby in Errington) is one of the best companies we've ever dealt with. They are organized, professional, polite, and do what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it. We had our roof and 7 skylights replaced. The largest skylight was a custom glass ceiling so Jake contracted that part of the job out to a local glass specialty shop. After the new one was installed, it just wouldn't stop leaking no matter what we did, and it began to damage the wall above our patio door where the water gradually leaked in and pooled. Jake's was on it right away, sending the glass company back twice to fix it. When they couldn't fix it and tried to say that it was impossible to stop some leaks, Jake said that's ridiculous and anything can be made leak-proof it it's done properly. So Jake's two top guys came personally and took the whole thing out and put it back in themselves. Jake asked us to call them back again once the wall had dried out and he would send in a drywaller to replace that section of wall. The drywaller did a good job and painted it as well. We were so impressed with their service and integrity. One thing about Jake is that he likes to keep his crew busy during the whole year instead of hiring a bunch of young guys with no experience and then letting go when times get slow. This really shows in their commitment to a good work ethic. When they did our roof it was the hottest 2 weeks of the year with temps reaching over 30 degrees. But these guys just hosed themselves off, drank lots of water, and kept on trucking. I would highly recommend Jake's Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof.

These workers have been given many contract from Ucluelet First Nation. They do rushed, bad work. They swear at first nation community members, swing hammers and make threats to Ucluelet First Nation community members,. When I brought this to the company boss they did nothing. Awful company with aggressive, rude workers.
