Great selection and lots of unique stuff! Staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable, if they don't know the specifics of what you're asking about they will ask another team member and someone will almost always know about it. Prices are good and just a genuinely great stop if you're looking for alcohol!
Private liquor store with some very knowledgeable staff. Great local and international selection of wines, spirits and craft beer. Plus, they now sell cigars.
They employ 2 men from France that gave unique service as the wine I usually purchase is not available...I bought 2 bottles and have thoroughly enjoyed 1 that I shared on my deck with a neighbour...viva LA France .

I was so impressed with the service I received from Melody I believe that is her name the other day. She went over and above to accommodate an out-of-town request from me. My father lives in Penticton and I live in Toronto and I wanted to gift him some nice wines for his birthday. Instead of me buying a gift certificate which he would have to go and pick up, Melody kindly suggested that she could pick out some wines to suit my budget and have them delivered that very day. The wines she chose were wonderful and I am so appreciative. Thank you so very much.
Pretty good place to get a decent selection of beer. Although its doesn't vary enough. If you want the best selection you would have to drive to the Cask and Barrell is West Kelowna.

I love Jak's, the staff are awesome and I love talking to any of them. They know their stuff and never act like you're an annoying customer! But it feels like their import beers have all but vanished in favor of local BC and Canada brews. Sure I can still get the staples like Erdinger, thank Odin for that, but I always want to hunt down and take home something new. Canadian beers are really great, but I'm looking for some weird Euro beers that I've never seen before. Maybe I'm blind and they're still there?
The best place for local wines. Especially if you're looking for orange wines. Staff was very knowledgeable and spent 15 minutes discussing and recommending various wines. The only thing that was slightly lacking was the options for wines from outside of BC.
