Went specifically for oyster happy hr $1/each, but also had a few other dishes plus dessert, which were all amazing. Service was great, as well as overall feel in the restaurant. Left extremely satisfied. We made a comment that we'd be regulars here if we lived in Portland.
My partner and I enjoyed their happy hour over President Day weekend. We ordered oysters, beet salad, and a lobster bun. All delightful! Our wait person, Brandon, was professional with positive energy. We were a bit surprised that the lobster bun was petite. My partner only took a bite, so I can enjoy most of it. Overall experience was lovely. We recommend making reservations as well as there was a line at 5pm. It felt like we had the fast pass bc of the reservations
The best seafood and sauce making in the game! Their $1 oyster offering and the arrays of their five best sauces to go with it is just a very small highlight of the impressive menu. Amazing team!
The best meal and service I’ve had in quite some time. Flavors are fresh and bright, the menu is creative and regional. The cocktails are impeccably balanced. Service is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is cozy and intimate with a neighborhood feel. I will definitely be back!Recommended dishesOysters on the Half Shell, Hamachi Crudo, Cured Salmon
Fantastic menu and food. Service was great. Each dish was well thought out and absolutely exceptional. The only downside is that the dishes are very small. I think we ordered two appetizers, two “main” dishes and were still hungry afterward.
The restaurant was located in residential area, but it was filled with local people. Once I eat their dishes, I understand why they are so popular. I ordered fresh oysters, black cod and dangeness crab toast. All of them were so nice, especially crab toast was amazing! Good combination with dangeness crab, toast and hollandaise sauce. I strongly recommend this restaurant in Portland.
MAKE A RESERVATION. $1 Happy hour oysters, with their homemade sauces were amazing! This place is BUSY and a bit small inside so my tip is to plan ahead and make a reservation for the 5pm spot. The food was incredible, we got the Dungeness crab toast, hamachi crudo, and mini baguette. 10/10 for the food and service. We will be back
What a wonderful dining experience! I enjoyed the best meal I have had in a long time. Every dish was unique and beautifully prepared! I loved the cara cara orange salad with castelvetrano olives. The Mushroom Toast was savory and my favorite! The Shrimp Bun and sea salt fries was served as my main entree. We also shared a plate of oysters that were very fresh. The menu changes frequently, so the next time I will get to try new menu items. The server was great and I appreciated her recommendations. This was a great place to celebrate a birthday! I cannot wait to return.
Jacqueline has been and continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. In the lesser known Clinton area, it offers great food in a cafe setting. Get everything, enjoy delicious cocktails, and $1 happy hours oysters can't be beat.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: No
