We were quite excited to go to this saloon. It's always busy and the car park is usually full so we expected a good experience. Jack Saloon is really inviting and clean. We were greeted by a hostess who showed us our table and everything was open and friendly. Then we waited. and waited. More than 30 minutes passed and we eventually flagged down a waitress who went to get our waitress. We ordered drinks and a starter then our main course. Starter was great Tuna tartare but the main course was a disaster. Some really dry chicken on a bed of shredded lettuce for $22? We had to ask for additional sauce because it was chewy and dry. The ribs were also dry with almost no sauce and for a full rack @ $30, it was a really small portion. The ribs had a super hard outer layer and wasn't "fall off the bone" good. It had almost zero sauce and at least 30% of the ribs was so hard that I had to spit it out. Super disappointed with the quality of the food and definitely not worth the price. So if you want a place to mingle, listen to some music and have a few drinks, Jack Saloon is perfect but the food is barely edible and extremely expensive.
Excellent service, waitress and manager were very friendly. Chill vibe, there was a live band and a dj towards the end of the night. I had the Australian burger and its honestly, one of the best burgers I've had in a while. My friends had the beef tartare and the wings which they really enjoyed. 100% Recommend!!!!!!!
For a Saturday night date night I opted to try out Jack Saloon since the official opening was this week. Wasn't packed at 6pm and they had seating available for 2. My wife got a lemonade sanglante vodka, smirnoff, strawberry infusion, mint and lemonade. Said it was really really good. We ordered "La Familiale" which is a shared plate containing a full rack of ribs, a whole chicken, fries and cucumber salad for $60. The BBQ sauce on the ribs was good tender, we couldn't finish the chicken too much but very tasty, the fries were seasoned nicely but a bit small in portion size to share among 2 people. We ordered a side dish of fries to compensate for it. Overall, very good experience, professional & courteous staff. Clean and well designed interior, large bar. As our meal was finishing we saw more people starting to enter. Not packed during our dinner but I believe it caters more to the night life with the large bar. Will definitely be going back and wish them the best in this new location.
1 star for food. Service was excellent, drinks just ok, and the atmosphere is very good! Don't need to go downtown for a fun night of dancing with friends. Next time I will eat at home first...Food: 1/5
Honestly the best food I've had in a long time. The culture is amazing. The restaurant has a very comfortable environment to spend time with loved ones. It's definitely a hangout place. I'm very impressed.
Had dinner with friends. The food was very good, but a bit expensive. The service was attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. There was a live band playing. They were good and the music wasn't too loud. We were able to have a conversation without having to shout. The only small criticism is the height of the chairs. My feet were far from the floor and I would have appreciated a cushioned chair.
Went here after hearing good reviews from some friends and they weren’t wrong! My spicy margarita was delicious but I do wish it was a little bigger like in a mason jar then the short glass it came in. Everyone needs to order the burnt ends app… let just say a could eat a mountain of that. Our burgers were delicious and the fries were excellent! Great county music playing with a cool saloon vibe. Will be going back soon!
We decided to go there to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. We were very pleased with our time spent there. The food is delicious and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The owner surprised my nephew with a bottle of champagne for his birthday. I would definitely recommend. Will be going back again for sure.
Amazing service! Everything was great, food was good, but the one thing that was unbelievable was the awesome service Mrs. Charlotte gave to us, you know, her smile and nice eyes made our night! Definitely going there at least once a week! Did i mention the burger they serve? Believe me when i say this, Jack Salloon’s burger is undoubtedly marvellous !
