Very disappointing experience with our server, Gaby. We didn’t even get offered water, and there was barely any interaction throughout the meal. After the food was brought out, nobody came back to check if everything was okay. The only time Gaby came back to our table was after we were already done eating to ask if we needed anything else.nnThe food tasted decent, but my pasta was lukewarm while my husband’s meal came out hot, which honestly made me jealous. The chicken in my pasta also had burnt edges, and despite paying extra for bacon and mushrooms, there was barely any bacon included.nnThe service seemed heavily focused on the other side of the restaurant, even though the hockey game hadn’t even started yet. My drink was also mostly ice, which felt like a waste of money.nnWhat disappointed me the most was at the end of the meal. I still had leftovers, and instead of asking if I wanted a takeout container like most servers usually do, Gaby cleared my plate and stacked another person’s dirty plate on top of mine, making it obvious I couldn’t bring it home anymore. She did offer to replace it afterward without charging me, which I appreciated, because honestly if she hadn’t offered that, I probably wouldn’t have left a tip.nnDefinitely hesitant to come back after this experience.

Amazing experience at Jack Astor’s! The food was delicious, everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The service was exceptional super friendly, attentive, and fast. Definitely one of those places where you enjoy both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Amazing restaurant! Great prices, generous portions, and truly delicious food. I had The eggnog Christmas drink, the coconut chicken curry now and a Christmas caramel desert. The décor is impeccable. Ante was exceptionally attentive, and the manager was just as welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks a lot!

He was personable, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to come across service that makes you feel so well looked after, and Enrico absolutely did that.nnGreat food, outstanding service, and a wonderful overall experience.
