My recommendation is do not go to J.P. Auto under any circumstance. I was swindled by them for my break pads, paid for repairs. After that I could tell they weren’t fixed. Paid over three hundred dollars for the repairs. About a month after I had to get my safety fixed and I went down the street to Otown auto just down the street to find out my break pads were finished and I needed new roters. Long story short go down the street to Otown if you are staying in town for repairs. JP auto gets 1 star only because that’s the lowest I can give them.

Did not provide an estimate Did not inform me of work to be done Installed "premium" parts without consent. Car held hostage until bill was paid. Over 1000 dollars for a front brake job?? No thanks.

Worse mechanic shop in town. Went to get pads and routers replaced which I had supplied myself. They ended up stripping the calibers and without calling me they ended up doing the work without my consent. A 300 bill turned into 900$. I did not have the money so they threatened to keep my car until it was all paid. A decent mechanic shop (CB Warrens )would have haulted work and would take the car off the hoist and not charge the customer. I have confirmed that with them and they will be the place I go to for now on. So after I find a way to pay it all and literally drain my bank account I'm riding down the street and I hear this incredible loud noise. Whatever they did they screwed it up and now I have to take it in for more repairs. After raging to the guy he would not admit to his mistakes and said thst it was the cheap parts I bought. (Even tho it had nothing to do with the brakes ). I asked for the calibers to confirm thst they were seized and of course they didn't have them. In conclusion I want to inform peoe not to go here. They took advantage of me because I was young and they thought they could just bully me around. Their shop is always empty so obviously the word is already around town. There are lots of mechanic shops in oromocto. Shop around and only go to someone you trust. Thank you

Horrible service. Very sleezy. Gauged me for parts I didn't even need after I went to a garage weeks before for inspection. Went on with the work without contscting me so i was forced to pay the outstandinbn bill or i was going to be stranded with no car. Should of listened to the many people who warned me about this mechanic shop. Never again.
