We came here a quick bite to eat & got these tacos! The service is great and quick & friendly. The food is pretty delicious & good quality which is also reasonably priced! The place is clean & we didn’t have to make a reservation at 4:30pm.
I/we loved this place. The food was so good but if I give more than 5 stars for service I would. They ARE amazing! We were blown away but how kind and on top all of the wait staff was. Even the manager was walking the floor clearing plates, etc. If want so damn as good Mexican food with awesome people than this is the place. Food: 5/5
The restaurant looked great I will give them that but I felt the food was lower quality then other places the food was blan chicken is not saposed to be watery and the beef was very oily. Servers rushed us thru the process of the order food also looked like ithad been re heated out the oven.
Loved the food. Probably one of the cleanest Mexican restaurants I have been to. 4 stars on food and service only because fajita's really didn't come with the amount of chicken I would expect. And the Jalapeno margarita my friend got was just ok. Plus we had to wait quite awhile for water after we were served chips and salsa. I like mild salsa and theirs was extra good and flavorful not bland. But the food was well prepared and tasted good. Oh also I never got a separate plate to use for my fajitas. But overall a good experience and would definitely go back.
Stopped here on the way back from Steven's Pass and it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations for some less common options usually I just get told about the fajitas or carne asada and was friendly and extremely on top of making sure we had everything we needed. To top if off the food was delicious - definitely will be back.
This was an outing with friends lingering over a meal to enjoy each others' company. The staff brought us chips and drinks immediately and were attentive, but not intrusive throughout the meal. The food was quite good and we've had plenty of Mexican. Nice salsa, good Cadillac margaritas, spot-on enchiladas and excellent chicken asada. They did a great job and we will definitely return.
RAVE: Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant in Monroe. Quick bite after watching a movie in the theater Yay! we stopped in. Chicken taco salad for her, chicken soup not on the menu and fried jalapenos for me. Everything was fresh, crunchy, and savory. I absolutely love their soup, it is thicker using a brotg based on the enchilada sauce. Wonderful, staff was super friendly remembered us from over a year ago and very clean and well monitored. Good to be 'safely' back.
Really disappointing with poor food quality. The taco shells are pre-made from a box and the ground beef is the EXACT same texture and consistency as Taco Bell, minus the flavor. The Enchilada was made with the same beef, equally bland and even more pathetic. The food here tastes like someone whose never had Mexican food before decided to open a Mexican Restaurant.
Very nice atmosphere. The staff attentive and cheerful. The owner came by my table for a short conversation. Thoroughly enjoyed that! The meal for my breakfast...Huevos Rancheros. The meal they served me..reminded me of my breakfasts in Baja California Sur, MX No disappointments here.
Tl;dr: It's fine I guess. We swung by for a late lunch 3pm-ish on a Sunday. The staff was inattentive and rarely came by. We had the fajitas for 2, which were mostly made up of poorly cooked green bell peppers and onions. The rice and beans it came with were average. Portion size was good for 2 adults, so that was a redeeming quality.
