If you haven't treated yourself to this fine dining experience., it is a must have. Pasta is fresh and sauces are amazing. The wait staff is impeccable. A fine oiled machine. The owner John is a kind man. With top notch ingredients and staff you won't be disappointed with.
This restaurant and its pizza used to be a staple for our large family. Over the last year it has greatly deteriorated in quality and service. The last pizza we ordered was burnt both on top and underneath. The worst part is they made the decision to send it out visibly burnt. Food for thought WE ARE BUSY ISN’T AN EXCUSE!!! I wish the owners would get involved and start fixing things. Too good of a gem to see things get this bad.
My friend and I visited on a whim on a Saturday night, and were pleasantly surprised at how great the experience was. We were graciously welcomed at the door by John, the owner, which is super classy and something you don't see enough of these days and also, wow was he fun to look at . Although I have had the food before, multiple times, this was the first time I'd dined in, and learned they have quite a stylish dining space. The staff was attentive and friendly, and John made rounds around the dining area, making sure to take a little time with each of the tables. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. We had a full course meal complete with drinks, appetizer and desert, and everything from the top down was phenomenal. IPK has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I plan to return many times.
This place is perfect for a casual bite or a fancy dinner. The music btw was awesome. Didn't necessarily go with the whole Italian vibe but it was great! Food was 10/10 we got the grilled calamari. Bourbon glazed pork chop Pizza and Alfredo pasta. All was delicious
Always love this place. Johnnyowner always says hello and makes sure the experience is top notch. All the staff is friendly and attentive. Love coming here with friends for a good bite to eat in a family atmosphere.
This place is unbelievable. Very friendly staff. Very good food and overall I very nice atmosphere. So sad that I have to go back to my state but I will definitely come back for more.
I cant have enough of this place. Their pasta is delicious Sydney is one of the best servers we had so far, friendly, patient, fast, got everything correct Smile and was sooo nice its hard not to want to recognize that And that is why we keep coming. She is great at recommending good dishes Once again we had a great time
This place has a great atmosphere in a great location, and has a lot of potential once it figures out its' menu and quality of food. We went with a larger group on a Friday night, most of the tables were full, and the place got busier as the night went on. When we all looked at the menu, we were all over-whelmed, and no one had a clear choice of what they wanted. The 2 page menu offers everything from bar food to pasta, to pizza, to salads, and even traditional Italian dinners. Even though this sounds great, the execution and quality of food fell very short. We all ordered something different, and all of us were disappointed with our meals - so much so that everyone left a lot on their plates. My fish and fries were so plain tasting that I had to squeeze an entire lemon on them, and had to constantly add more salt. My wife's lasagna tasted like a frozen meal that could have been picked up at the grocery store. Once this restaurant focuses on its' menu by condensing it a lot, and deciding what they are truly good at with better quality items we will consider going back.
My father went here a couple weeks ago and raved about it. So I took my grandma for dinner tonight and was NOT disappointed. The food is excellent and the marinara sauce is absolutely delicious. Chantel was our waitress and she was very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back to try other dishes.
My wife found this place mentioned on a Facebook group she participates in. It was a bit of a drive from Arlington Heights but it ended up being well worth it! It is a cool place with an active vibe ... people everywhere and loud talking! I had Lasagna and my wife had Shrimp Alfredo. We LOVED the food! Service started out good but changed, for the worse, in the middle/end of meal. We had to flag down other waitstaff to find our waiter, for drink refills. I liked this place A LOT and will definitely return .... Parking: Parking is VERY limited!!! Be aware of this before you go!
