Everything here is absolutely delicious! I have never finished a plate of pasta at a restaurant in my life. Service was great. Be sure to make an appointment ahead of time as reservations get booked up especially in the high season.
I took the bar seat and got a great service experience. The place is fresh ingredients and the environment is perfect for eating with a few friends.

There on a bustling Friday night, still had excellent service. The salmon was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The mark of a great Italian restaurant kitchen; an excellent quality meatball married up to a mouth watering marinara. Among the best you'll ever have is here. Modern attractive dining room and entirely reasonable prices for what you get, which is high quality, well done meals.
A great place in Saint John if you’re looking for a fine authentic experience, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, very helpful too. We were so happy with the food, loved the dessert, and we cannot wait to try there pizza.
Amazing food and lovely experience all around! Service was great from the assistant servers, and our main server was okay. The issue with the service was that it was impersonal and she didn't seem to be knowledgeable about the food. No huge problems though, just not stand out service. And this is a place that deserves stand out service. Highly recommend! The food and atmosphere are wonderful.
Such a great restaurant in St. John. This would easily be 5 stars except the mood was slightly ruined on date night when the bar underneath started blasting music to the point of our entire table vibrating. This is by no means the businesses fault, however i would recommend caution when making a later reservation. Our server was great and very personable, a very good up-seller. The food was good enough, maybe a little overpriced for pasta with scallops, but you are paying for atmosphere. All in all its worth the visit with the knowledge that the earthquake of music may make an appearance.
My partner and I went here for a late dinner. On sitting down a server told us that they were busy and that wait times may be longer. We did experience some minor waits, but nothing serious. I opted for a seafood-based pasta and my partner ordered a steak which was the special of the night. We both found that the proteins of our meal were cooked extremely well and the quality of the meat/ingredients was exceptional. The plates came to around $40 and $50 respectively. We did find that some of the sauces fell a bit flat, but nothing that would make us say it was a "bad meal" by any means. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of Italian by Night can suffer a bit on behalf of its downstairs neighbors. The bar below the restaurant plays loud dance music which can be felt through the floor and heard through the entire meal. If you're looking for a quiet evening out, this may not be the place to go, but could be fun if you enjoy hearing muffled 2000s and 2010's hits! Our server made a few jokes about it, and it wasn't a big deal to us. A good restaurant to eat at that won't disappoint, but in my opinion, is a bit too expensive for the experience. Taking a route that isn't the surf and turf might be better value for money.
