Island Vibez

Ordered an Island Vibez fried rice. It was the best fried rice I’ve tasted in a looooong time. It has a smoky flavour that works well with the hot sauce. Definitely will be one of my regular take out spots!

I wish I could give a zero to this place. I am so disappointed with this food. The food was the worst I have ever eaten. The noodles were dry and flavorless. The chicken tasted like fish and that means they haven't changed their oil ever. I don't leave reviews but I had to when I paid for this garbage. Please dont waste your money on this place they obviously dont care and I am not sure how they are still in business. Looking at the reviews it seems like the owner responding has a chip on their shoulder. Either learn to cook or hire someone that knows how to.

I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 3 years and I'm upset I didn't find this little gem earlier. I ordered the wings and fries which also came with cole slaw and everything was so good. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly with tasty batter and the fries had the perfect amount of salt and didn't even need the ketchup provided. I will be ordering from here again!

The lady who is working their is assist customer very rudely she does not know even how to talk with uber driver.. very bad service for delivery…

I order the special fried rice and I have to say that the food was okay, yes there was flavour and the pepper sauce add was good too. However, the rice was a bit oily and with the amount of rice I was given the ratio of chicken wasn't balanced. The coleslaw added on the side didn't make sence to me I personal feel as though the coleslaw doesn't need to be added to the meal.

This place had a really good rating on skip the dishes so I thought I would give it a try. However I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I bought food from here to feed my family and it cost me $50. I feel like I just threw money in the garbage. The large chicken was extremely dry, the stir fry shrimp only had 4 pieces of shrimp in it and the rice tasted burnt. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE. There are better places to get Caribbean food.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I ordered the chicken lo mein and fried rice with chicken on top thru Skip The Dishes. The lo Mein was 100% stale, and turning slimy! The rice was stale and flavourless too. I've been running to the bathroom since Friday its now Tuesday. Instead of trying to discredit all the bad reviews, try selling fresh food to your valued customers. Negative 5 stars..

In short, I’m not impressed. The food had no flavour and the appetizer portions were very small for the price. The long version: The fried rice tasted like the only seasoning used was salt and quite a lot. Drupati’s on 27 has a pretty bland fried rice but I’d prefer that over this any day. The fried basha and fries were $13, but looked like they only used one fillet and it was also flavourless. Palm Palace fried basha for $7.50 and the portion is three times as much, plus they don’t use fries to try and make it seem like there’s more food. The pepper shrimps is the only reason this review went from 1 star to 2 stars. It was seasoned nicely and had the perfect amount of batter. Unfortunately the portion was also very small, less than 8 shrimps and loaded with filler vegetables. Not worth the $13. This one thing is just a personal annoyance, but on the menu there’s a Guyanese Dishes section. But they labeled all the curried dishes as Curry Chicken, Curry Goat, etc., but if you’re truly familiar with authentic Guyanese cuisine, the naming of our foods has the protein first and then curry, such as Chicken Curry, Goat Curry, etc., but that’s a personal preference. I really hope they get their flavour profiles up and start seasoning their food properly. They also need to work on their pricing and portions.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews?! Their food is very delicious. It appears to me like they take pride in the preparation and appearance of their dishes. I ordered the island vybz fried rice , pepper shrimp and island vybz chow mein. Each dish was very good !! The pepper sauce is also very hot and nice. Portion sizes are very good. They deliver through skip the dishes. Very pleased with the food. Keep up the good work!!

I ordered through uber eats and I’m gonna start by saying that the dry chow mei did not taste fresh , the noodles tasted stale even the chicken meat in the fried rice did not taste like fresh chicken. I will say that the pepper shrimp tasted okay and that’s why I’m giving it a 2 star.
