Managed to pop into this shop, and very glad I did. Very helpful staff and a superb selection of meat will definitely be going back!

Definitely the place to go if you like a variance of meat, these guys really know what they are talking about and will happily talk you through the best cuts for you money. Coming up to spring / summer they also do some incredibly hampers for the BBQ which are worth taking a look at as the meats are already prepared and marinated for you for extra flavour!

Fantastic firm. I have been using Island foods since the first lockdown began last year. I will never buy my meat from anywhere else now , the customer service is second to none and the meat is really really good quality. I would recommend them to anyone. Top marks

We recently bought a large amount of burgers and sausages for a corporate event we were holding. We have had so many comments on how amazing the food was and we agree! Delicious and great quality meat. Highly recommend them!

BEWARE... after years of using these butchers I won't go back... they have sold me dubious dog food which has led to several visits to the vet for my dog... as soon as I stopped using their dog food and started using Lidl chicken my dog stopped being unwell... Secondly I bought a beef fillet between Christmas and New Year, and it was pre packed in a vacuum bag. When I opened it, the fillet was all badly cut up and not a "whole piece"... for the price it was only usefully as tails .... felt really ripped off.

Amazing meat - fresh, local. A taste that sets it aside from supermarket meat. Friendly service from traditional butchers that you can talk to and get advice on the right cut for a recipe. The BBQ 6oz burgers and Hickory Dickory Chicken Skewers are a firm favourite for us. You have not tasted meat until you have tasted Island Foods meats!
