I came by here to donate some things for the kids, unfortunately they do not accept donations, but the people here were just really really nice people. I'm very upset they couldn't accept the donation but i am thankful they were just honest and greeted me in a polite manner. Thanks for restoring some faith in humanity. They even gave me some great advice. God bless you & praise Allah....

Uhhh the school is quite disorganized and its not put together. The staff are nice but there is a lot of bullying going around with the students, student aren't well behaved at all and are pretty mean and bratty..I don't recommend.

I can honestly say this place is doing its' best. It focuses on the "main subjects" (math, language arts, science, geography, history, etc.) but leaves other subjects like art, P.E., and Computer lab at the level of free periods. Teachers often abuse the classes, and take them to make up time they'd wasted themselves to teach a different class. If your child wishes to get into the arts, I stress this, do not send them here. The school takes periods like art as a joke. You aren't taught any sort of techniques in the class, instead the teachers pay no mind to your art, dozing off instead of critiquing your work or teaching lessons. They simply give you some assignment off the internet they've been using for a few years, and leave you to it. When asked, a teacher said it was due to the fact that students didn't take their own art seriously, drawing stick figures. But how can anyone learn if they aren't being taught any better? Often the "art teacher" can't draw any better than the student. Moving to the P.E. classes. Classes with a certain teacher are especially slow and aren't taken seriously. I don't mean this to be rude, just to be constructive criticism. Half the class is wasted by long pauses as she waits for you to quiet down, the other taken by her topics that seem to pivot in the middle of a sentence. You're often not taught anything you're supposed to learn (considering islamic perspective), such as how to deal with cramps and what drugs not to use, or how fit you should be, instead you're learning about marriage which for some cases, is unneeded since you won't be married for at least 10 years or not at all. When confronted on the fact that marriage is not the meaning of life, she told me to get help. In Computer Lab the WiFi is often not working and competitive, seeing as students want to get the "best computer" first. It's also terribly uncontrolled, seeing as teachers are doing their own work on the computer for most of the period. It is not all bad however. The students are diverse and have an array of different hobbies and likes, a huge crowd even forming in the anime/manga community. Keep in mind there's only a small class (of 20-30 students) for each grade, and P.E. merges two together for, at least, the higher grades. Moving on to teachers. Depending on the student, you can often connect with certain teachers and the way they teach. Some may not be as likeable. But most are decent. This is definitely one of the best Islamic schools in Toronto, with good facilities for the most part and diverse classes. Most students excel in math and such, so if that's the route you'd like your child to go, then send them here. Other subjects are decent, not including the subjects I'd mentioned being ignored. If your child wants to go into the arts, I don't recommend taking them here. The arts are almost completely ignored here, unless your child manages to find a (possibly older) student to guide them, but you're better off sending them to an art class after school if you're depending on that.

This school is bad for children who want proper education, and completely biased with no assessment of the situation claiming students are always wrong

Incredible scholars. Very welcoming, warm and caring leaders and a community that leaves no one out.
