Irving Middle School

One of the worst schools ever. Being one of the students in the school they hire a Ukrainian teacher that doesn't know her proper English and is very hard to understand. If I could move different schools I would do it in a heartbeat

Pretty ok place. I would feel safer at Alameda though

Irving is the best I love this school it so fun and the teachers and administrators really care .

Do not let your children attend this school. The staff doesn't care about them, but rather money and egos. As someone with personal experience at this school, it's one of the most awful experiences I've had. They'd rather dress code female students then teach them anything. Many students often deal with mental problems caused by this place, and teachers often make light of it. The teachers will often preach religion and politics instead of actual learning, and the safety of children is ignored.

It should be criminal to throw away perfectly good food instead of feeding hungry children. Is this what sort lesson you want children to learn? To turn their backs on those who need the most and leave them to suffer? Or do you want them to grow up learning compassion, charity, and philanthropy? Schools should be offering all students meals regardless of need. However, in this case, throwing away food when a child desperately needs it is cruel and hurtful. That child can't help what money their family does or does not have. And constant hunger and food insecurity has long term negative impact on children when they grow up. Firing a person who stood up to this injustice is an injustice in and of itself. And those responsible should be ashamed.
