Amazing food, large portions. fresh ingredients. My first time here, and I was beyond impressed. They were short staffed and still everything was fantastic!
I wish I could give no stars at all... walked in with my boss to have dinner. I have ordered many times to-go over the past year but this was my first and LAST dine in experience. I asked to order something with half the crab meat, she said they couldn't do that. So I said that's fine I'll order it with it. She then continued on to explain very annoyed they couldn't take it out after I already agreed to order it the way it says on the menu. She then said she would be right back.. came back and said they aren't taking any sushi orders anymore, took our menus and walked away ?? Very confused we said "okay why wouldn't you say that when we first got here" I mentioned to my boss that this was one way to make a customer not want to come back which she the older lady, server/owner? then yelled "oh good don't come back". I am floored and disgusted with this "customer service" or lack of! I'll stick to ordering from the city where they treat their customers with respect. The only good thing I'll say is the original younger lady who served us our drinks was very nice!
Extremely disappointed in our experience today. I’m not one to complain usually but today it seems necessary. I was given a pickup time of 7pm, it was very busy given it was valentines but I ended up waiting in store for almost 1 hr. I didn’t mind waiting as I understood it was busy but by the time I got my order home it was unfortunately too late to go back to have it remade because the restaurant was now closed. The rolls are extremely mushy to the point we can’t even pick them up. They are made so sloppy and the yam is not even cooked. I’ve eaten here in past and enjoyed my meal, however I guess I’d recommend avoiding on busy nights as they can’t provide quality output. ***would just like to add an update to this. I called the next day to request a refund as we weren’t able to eat the food. I had photos and still have the food they can look at. I spoke to someone there and she asked me to send her photos I took. She called me back and told me she would refund 2 of the 5 rolls we ordered and I needed to understand they were very busy and I could have cancelled my order if I didn’t want to wait. I guess now being busy is a great reason to provide bad food. Given that this restaurant is a 15-20 minute drive for me I’m not going to bother driving there to get a refund for 2/5 items that we didn’t eat. Completely unacceptable, will not return here and will certainly never recommend it. I should have been more leery when I saw other people complaining and even someone returning their entire order during the time i was waiting in the restaurant. Would give 0 stars if that were an option.
My wife and I had to walk out of the restaurant mid meal!! This is the first time I have ever had to do this in my entire life. My wife has a restrictive diet and we specifically ordered sushi with the soy papper substitute instead of the seaweed that typically sushi comes with. They brought the first roll to the table as ordered and it was fine. Then they brought the other 4 rolls out separately and with the seaweed. No big deal I'm not upset that they got our order wrong, that happens and I understand. The issue is that when we told them that the order was wrong, they said they are too busy doing take out orders that they would not correct our order! What choice do I have, my wife cannot eat the food and they refused to correct it. So I left cash on the table and we left after only having a few bites of food. Then as I am leaving in my car another employee runs out into the parking lot asking me to pay for the meal that they made wrong and would not fix! After I told him what happened and that I had paid he did apologize but still I paid for a meal we didn't even get to eat. This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I will never be going to Irori again.
I love irori! It is a cute place where one can chill with family. All of the workers are super friendly. Their food is amazing and always fresh. It is worth the money for what you are getting!!
Nice, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, amazing tea. The ginger pork was a little salty for my tastes, but otherwise, the food was delicious. The tea honey tea was very aromatic.Food: 4/5

Good food- not always consistent, but that’s because everything is made unique to order- biggest downside is the owner. She doesn’t understand customer service despite all her years running a restaurant. Once i got miso soup with tofu and it had no tofu- she told me it’s still good soup and I pay for it? Just broth… the nerve of this lady is unreal.

I used to love eating here, but not anymore. Their food is usually very good but inconsistent. Last time we ordered takeout, they forgot two items from our order, and made no attempt to make it up to us besides making us come back and get the food we already paid for. I'm tired of patronizing and recommending a restaurant that seemingly cares very little about their customers.
