Great place with excellent service and a full menu with lots of options. Wings were extra meaty, burnt ends were great too. Pulled pork was a little dry, but tasty and the brisket and ribs were amazing! Recommended, it's worth the trip and it won't break the bank. Parking: Lots of parking
Went with my wife and mom and it was impressive all around. Great local beer and cocktails enjoyed by the ladies. Friendly staff. We all ordered the ‘Big Smoak’ which is 2 meats and 2 sides. Everything was available. The ribs really stood out and add the Texas sauce for a perfect bite. I had the fully loaded baked potato and really enjoyed that. A lot of reasons to go back! My wife spent a few years in Texas and said there wasn’t anything as good there. Highly recommended the trip to Steinbach for this one!
Great experience. Good sized, quality plates. Brisket was a little dryer than expected, but still very enjoyable. Burn tips and wings were excellent.
Delicious food, I have had a few burgers here, both very flavorful with great sauces and toppings. Their fries have always been really tasty as well. That being said, it feels pricier than it needs to be, though perhaps that is the cost of the fancier meats and styles of meat that are served here. Parking: Parking was no issue, even on a busy day.
Best. Southern BBQ place in Winnipeg Steinabach It is smokey, delicious, reasonably priced, and has great service. Even a 30 min drive on a stormy day is worth it for this food. This is what I asked for my birthday dinner
Heard a lot about this place and so was excited to try it out. We got in right away, and the waitress was initially on the ball. Once we were ready to order we felt rushed and there was an issue with the drinks. The food was quick and delicious. The Pit Master menu item is a great idea as you get to try 3 different meats. Towards the end of the meal we again felt rushed as the waitress wanted us to pay while the kids were still eating and we wanted to ensure they were getting their dessert. Then one of the kids had to wait as not enough desserts were brought out. Overall: Food: 4/5 Sercice: 3/5
I've wanted to try Bigg Smoak for a while. Finally went last night with some friends. Was ok. The portions are large and the meat was very tasty. The sides were just average and the salad included a hair. I'm not a fan of using cheap trays and paper disposable plates. The entire building looks tired and a little dirty. The menu was so busy it was hard to figure it out. Sometimes less busy would look classier.
Came for dinner with friends on December 18th we have never been here before. I am very critical with smoked meat as I do a lot of my own and can be very picky about it. I must say the food was absolutely amazing from burnt ends to chicken I was extremely happy and so were others in my party. Also have to mention our waitress was absolutely amazing if I could give this place more than five Stars I would. The portions are absolutely wonderful and the value is incredible especially in these times. We are definitely going to come back here a few more times as there was lots of menu items that I have not tried yet LOL. Great job guys don't change a thing or the way you're doing it!
Excellent service. Went for an early lunch. Service was great, took the time to give suggestions and recommendations of what to order. Great quality food. Cannot wait to come back again. Did the pulled pork, brisket, sausage, corn bread with honey butter, fries, Mac and cheese.
Sammy's pulled pork sandwich was very good, although I don't do my sandwiches with the slaw on the sandwich. No issues though. The tater tots portion was HUGE! Way too much for 1 person. But, I topped off my meal with the apple pie. YUM!
