Iron Skillet

I never do reviews ..EVER! But needed to share so no one else makes the same mistake.We gave it 3 tries....Not many places in Troy Pa to dine. So first time.. onion soup COLD...SLOOPY. Fried fish special was frozen fish and deep fried......Meat loaf cold to the touch with warm gravy poured over it.....corn ice cold, onion rings soggy and under cooked, I could go on and on..but after trying 3 times we know now it wasn't just a bad night for the cook..it's just the diner..The cost for two people without dessert will be around 30.00 with tip.. The place is so dirty and the staff needs to be trained in restaurant manners...WOW... where we come from that place wouldn't last a week.. oh,..the staffs physical hygene , I give it 1 star.

Do enjoy eating at the Iron Skillet. Especially like the prize-winning chocolate cake with peanut butter icing!

Nice cozy place for a good bite to eat. I love coming here, it's quiet, next to an antique store, has an old feel to it.
