Callears is a friendly, family style, sit down BBQ joint. We serve a wide variety of BBQ and all the country style side dishes and biscuits that go with it. We can also cater your next event. I am sorry to give them 2 stars but it is the average of 4 and a couple of 1 stars based on our 3 experiences there. My birthday catering was done nicely, I gave them 4 stars for that. We ordered pulled pork, pulled chicken, and brisket for the meats; the sides and sweet potatoes were not the best but they were still good! However, we ordered lunch from there and the pulled pork and brisket were subpar. Over the weekend, we ordered a brisket and Mac and cheese for dad's birthday and the brisket was so dry and pale. Apparently the worker forgot to give us a separate bbq sauce! I called to kindly give a feedback but I did not receive any reassurance that this will not happen again. It sounded like I will have to make sure for myself that this will not happen again. Sorry!

As a Texan native I wanted to see what the local bbq had to offer. The brisket was pretty good but the the meats alone needed more smoky flavor. The potato salad was runny and didn't taste good. Overall, a decent place but not the greatest bbq I've ever had.

Quality food at a fair price. Sides are always homemade and you can definitely appreciate the difference. The kids love coloring on the paper table covers. Highly recommend giving it a try if your in the mood for BBQ.

OMG This is great food, awesome service, great prices and I'm over full in the belly. If you leave here hungry or not full you got a small salad. The pulled pork loaded potatoes is spectacular

Worth the stop. So many things done well. Pickles, sweet potato bread, service with a smile. Meats were great keep killing it ladies!
