Karen is a wonderful new addition to Iron Salon. Karen was my hair stylist for several years while living in Calgary. She is incredibly talented and loves what she does. She is the ONLY one I trust to color my hair ! I was so happy to see her return to Halifax. She is always delightful, funny and honest and truly wants you to have the best experience.

There are hair stylists, then there is Karen - she is a true master of her craft! She can analyze and nail whatever look you are going for. She cut and coloured my hair while she lived in Calgary, Toronto, and now thankfully!!!! Halifax. She ensures I always leave with exactly what I have asked for! I get that perfect “white blonde” look every time! When someone is THAT good, you just have to pay it forward! Happy haircutting!

I had an Amazing experience at this salon - in particular with my stylist Karen Humphreys. I've been fortunate to go to many high-end salons in my life while living abroad in London, UK & in Toronto, ON and Karen's work was bar none the BEST I've had. She took time to suggest different colourings and the latest techniques in the industry to make sure she captured my vision which was merky at best. During my appointment she used her education and experience to pivot ideas to ensure the colouring and foils would best compliment my hair type & texture and that it would actually last. I left the salon feeling amazing! And I was even more elated in the weeks to come when the colour somehow ...looked even better?! My cut was Stunning, as well. Highly recommend this talented woman and beautiful salon!

Karen is amazing! I have no idea how she pulled off the magic she did on my hair but she is talented at what she does! Professional, relaxed atmosphere. She made sure I felt right at home. Well worth the 2 hour drive. Thank you Karen !

I moved to the area about a year ago now and had been trying to find a new stylist to work with my curly hair who could help me to nail down the perfect blonde. I found Nathan a couple of months ago and all I have to say is that I found my stylist! Nathan gave me the perfect blonde and a beautiful cut all while having a fun time in the chair! Today I was at Iron salon and got my hair done by Sarah I have the best experience she is so talent and profesional, I also have to mention that my hair is so difficult to work with due to a colour allergies / extra thick not catching colour or bleach but she did it with out any issue so easy Im so so happy with my hair and I could not be more thankful SARAH YOU ARE THE BEST
