Many students have gone on to professional careers with ballet companies such as the National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet, Tuscon Ballet and many more.
The International School of Ballet was the first studio in Alberta, since 1975 to present successful Solo Seal candidates. Solo Seal is the highest level of achievement with the Royal Academy of Dance. To date, we have had Solo Seal recipients in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
In 2008, Alexandra Bertram won the Bronze medal in the Royal Academy's prestigious Genee Internationale ballet competition. Alexandra also went on to be Canada's Top Female Dancer in the inaugral season of "So You Think You Can Dance Canada".
International School of Ballet students consistently do well at auditions for international ballet schools with many being offered full scholarships for programmes.
