BTW, as usual don’t trust the IRS. Their online hours indicate 8:30-4:00 at their 1 Montvale location, but their office sign hours said 8:30-1:00 then 1:00 - 2:00 Lunch & end of day. “Nice work people” I just wasted a two hour trip in horrific traffic but what does the IRS care.? It’s no wonder why people are pissed off at our government - no consideration for the commonwealth !!

Brought in my tax return because a W-2 was missing when my tax return was filed (it got rejected due to a protection pin) . They put the W-2 income on my return and my refund went down thousands.. I wondered how is this possible? I almost let it slide and then I brought it back to my accountant / tax preparer and the women who adjusted my tax return at the IRS building NEVER PUT IN MY FEDERAL OR STATE TAX WITHHOLDING's which nearly RUINED my tax return. She filed it with this information which caused my refund to drop over 5,000$ for a 22,000$ W2. Not only federal withholding's but the state withholding's also effect my itemized deductions and that wasn't adjusted either... almost completely ruined my tax return if I had not called my accountant just to be safe about the dramatic change.

You now have to make appointments by phone to even enter this IRS. I dealt with one of the worst employee in this office and her name is Carrie Peterson at the far left. Her services is absolutely unprofessional, immense amount of rudeness, and extremely impatient. Its ridiculous how a person can provide such inappropriate services in this kind of workplace. It is not acceptable.

I drove an hour south from Amesbury to make it here as the website states open till 4:30. All I was trying to do was get a transcript. I walk in at 5 minutes of 4 to be told by security that they don't take anybody after 4pm. DISGUSTING! I hoping somebody in supervisory role reads this. Then he said you have to make an appointment problem is you can't talk to anybody on the phone here. INCOMPETENT!
