Interbeaute Coiffure

11/01/18: I went there for a haircut. The women at the front desk didn't look welcoming. Every time I go there, they never smile at anyone. I felt like I was waking in a McDonald's where everyone is grumpy. The lady who did my hair was rushing (her name is Lisa). I asked for long layers.. I even showed a picture. My haircut looked okay when I was there. She blow dried my hair so I couldn't really tell that it was a bad haircut. When I got home I straightened my hair and that's when I realized it was a BAD haircut. My hair was all choppy. I can't even go back to fix it because the top of my hair is really short. It comes up to my ears. It looks like I have two different haircuts. I'm very disappointed. Update: I went to another hairdresser the next day (he knows the owner of Interbeaute). He used to cut my hair when I was younger. He looked at my hair and he was in complete shock. He tried to fix it but to be honest it was hard because my layers are way too short and uneven. He charged me 60$ for a haircut and to straighten my hair with a keratin steam straightener. At Interbeaute they charged me 46$ for just a choppy haircut + 5$ tips. If I knew on the spot that she gave me a bad haircut, I would've not tipped her 5$. I will never go back to this salon. I went there every 4 months for a haircut since 2016. They have now lost a client.

The worst salon I've ever been too. They try to cancel my appointment the day before. Then I get there and the girl asked to see the picture of the hair style I wanted 8 times. Never told me she was not able to do it , never asked anyone for help. When I told the receptionist I hated it . She just told me it looked nice and took 10$ off. I had to go home wash my hair and then do it myself. In the 16 years I have been going to salons I have never had this experience. I would not recommend this salon period. Waste of my time & money. I hope not listening to a client was worth the 63$ you charged me and the truth being publicly spoken in this review.

I always go see Mary for my color and she is the best!!! I live far from Rockland and it's so much worth it!!!

LIFE SAVERS! After having a horrible experience with the Institut de Beaute St-Laurent , Interbeaute took me no questions asked on the same day and did a beautiful hairdo for my event and finished earlier then expected. Great Women helping each other, offered coffee, nice and consider my impute.

I went in person to get an estimate for a "professional up-do". The price seemed fine so I made an appointment The day of my appointment I made it clear to the stylist the reason for my visit was a photo shoot for a professional portrait and showed some suggestions of what I was hoping for the look. She put the majority of her efforts on the back, and I could have done better myself on the rest in 10 minutes. The front was uninspired and uneven with little pulls that made it look like I had hiked through underbrush. She said the back was so great I should think about having photos from that angle. Really? When I went to pay, the price was more than double of the quote. I think I may have been speaking with the owner and she told me that the person who gave me the quote didn't know what he was talking about because I had long hair. Could not have grown that much in a week and a half. Just saying.... I protested and said his error should not be at my expense but ended up paying because I had to go to the photo studio. Would NEVER have services done here again. PS the portrait will be great after I have someone fix the hair with Photoshop $$$
