The place seemed great and I heard great things about Indochino. In the space of high-end suits, they were also competitive on price. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to put in an order for a suit. Something that I think should be made more clear is that you need to order 3 months in advance! This caught me off-guard but I guess that’s pretty standard if you want a custom suit. Note: Other places could be just as good quality probably pricier but you can walk out with a good suit in under 10 days.
My husband bought a suit at Indochino for our son’s wedding, and our Sales associate, Zara, made the experience wonderful. As it has been years since he last bought a suit, Zara took the time to explain everything to us and helped guide us through the measuring, style and fabric choices… even guidance on what shoes, belt and tie he should wear. The suit turned out amazing and we are so thankful to Zara and the management team for making this such a positive experience.
I ordered 3 business shirts from Indochino in a white stretch cotton fabric. The shirts arrived and did not fit as expected and alterations would not fix all of the issues so they were going to remake them. No problem, I’m happy they will remake them as per their Fit Promise. They emailed me to let me know they ran out of stock of that particular fabric and asked if there was any other fabric I liked that could be a good substitute. There wasn’t as the white stretch cotton was the only stretch in white that they have and what I find most comfortable. Being that they couldn’t fulfill my order and they had no idea when that particular fabric would be in stock they said they’d give me store credit. I asked for a refund as that fabric was the only reason I ordered anything from Indochino in the first place. They refused, essentially stealing from me. I will never again order from them and will recommend colleagues and friends to stay clear. I’ll also be taking this up with Visa to get my money back.
BRUTAL experience. I bought a suit for my wedding in January, after numerous trips for wrong measurements, they tried to ship my pants express, but they missed my wedding in mid-July. More than six months. Fortunately I got a suit at Moore’s down the street, and it was ready in 2-3 weeks, it fit perfectly, cost less, and was better fabric. What kind of a sham is this company? They offer a “custom suit” but they’re working from “templates” and altering those, JUST LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE. $1,500 lesson in reading reviews first. Edit: Really? You’re going to blame shipping and importing issues on a process I start back in January? You’re not taking any responsibility at all? That’s complete garbage and you know it. You should be actively seeking out a solution instead of blaming outside sources of YOUR service. Unbelievable. Irresponsible.
If I could give negative stars I would. Seriously the worst customer service imaginable. My boyfriend got a custom made suit for a wedding party he is in 2 weeks from now. The first suit that arrived did not fit properly so he brought it in for alterations. This was months before the wedding. The Indochino team decided it was easier to remake the pieces then alter them, so proceeded to Donate his existing suit. Ridiculously they had run out of the fabric needed and did not realize before donating his existing suit. It was a light grey plaid so could not be easily matched. This is not eve the worst part. They did not contact us at all, we had to chase down an answer when the suit had not been shipped. Only to find they donate his suit and offered not solution. To top it all off they are currently NOT offering a refund. instead they are saying my boyfriend had to get a different fabric suit made that would not arrive till after the wedding…… literally the worst service imaginable. I still have a shred of hope they will try and help fix this before the wedding, but the lack of any solutions being presented or even basic communication makes that seem VERY unlikely.
I ordered 2 suits and a few extras from Indochino Vancouver. Shahid I helped me picking the material and with the measurements. When I picked up the suits no alterations had to be made. It was perfect. The service here is exceptional. I feel the money spent was worth it with the very comfortable material and the level of customization you could do. Thank You
Terrible fit and terrible customer service. I would have been better off buying something off the shelf. Sleeves were too short, jacket way too long. Pants are baggy. A supper awkward cut with obviously no quality control or human oversight. Just garbage pumped out of china. My tailor said it would be over $200 to try and fix it if he even could. They refuse to honor their fit promise and now just ignore my emails. They wont alter the suit themselves nor do a remake. avoid at all costs.
Disappointing experience. Just received the suits and shirts I ordered from Indochino in Vancouver. I don’t understand how made-to-measure suits and shirts can have such terrible fit compare of off-the-rack ones, and I am average size and build. As for their customer service, it was average before the making the payment, but NONE-EXISTENT after. I am bringing them back to the store to have the fitment issues resolved, but I am going to give them 1 star for now until the fit is perfect as Indochino advertised.
Horrible customer service. Not welcoming at all. We got to our appointment and they didn’t ask what the occasion was nor what type of suit we were looking for. The lady told us right of the bat that it’d take 3 months and if we needed it earlier, we would need a plan B in case the suit wasn’t ready. When we called to book the appointment nobody told us about the timeline. My fiancé and I are having a destination wedding and we would need the suit in 2.5 months, 2 weeks earlier. When we asked if they could have it ready by then, their answer was that we would need to take the risk. Then we asked if they have linen suit available for order, it’s everything out of stock, but the website shows available to purchase. I don’t know about the quality of the suit, but the service is the worst.
I previously ordered a suit through Indochino with no issues. However, post-COVID, their customer service is now nonexistent. I have contacted them 4 times over 3 weeks and received zero responses. I tried to update my sizes for a suit and request help with an order that their website failed to apply a discount code to. The suits are mediocre at best, I only used their service again because a friend is using them for a wedding I'm attending. I would highly recommend that you avoid this retailer.
