Easily one of my favorite places in Montreal. This book store has two floors of books and other items. It’s clean, beautiful, and well-staffed. I often spent an hour or two in the store browsing and reading books before the pandemic.
I love going to this store and pick out some new books. It can be hard to find staff on the second floor but when you find them, they always offer a great service. Plus, its located right next to a metro station which is very convenient
It's impossible for me to go there and leave empty handed, love this place. Great selection of scented candles, self help books, journals, and great deals.
Delightful book store in which to spend one's time in a visit. When I worked in Downtown Montreal I spent numerous lunch hours we were fortunate to have 1.5 hours checking out and purchasing books, cards, stationary, etc.
Good location, well staffed, piano when COVID is non existent is nice. People always playing beautiful music. Good layout! COVID has made the book stores not as "welcoming". I miss reading and coffee at this location.
Always amazing selection for both English and French. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend the down town store as the best selection on books. They can also order books for you if they don't have what you are looking for.
Large space. Well organized. Terminals available for searching if you can't find staff.
