Pros: Place its spacious and well lit The food it’s delicious and Fast. 17 min to serve 4 Con: Portions of food can be a little bigger And the service can be improved. Overall a good experience The food it’s extremely flavourful.
Drove in from Edmonton to visit this Indian Kitchen. We saw a lot of five stars reviews and a few one stars. It seems many were divided. We ordered the Beef Vindaloo, Dal Tarka, Basmati Rice, Multi Layered Butter Naan and Mushroom Mathr. The Vindaloo came at a spice level of 4 out of 5 and was super. The Naan was spectacular...crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. The Mushroom dish was very good as a balance. The rice was quite good...we had never seen rice with cloves in it but it made it burst a little. The only comment is that we felt the Dal and the could have been more flavorful. My partner always gets the Dal at restaurants so she understands when a Dal has more dimensions to its presentation. Otherwise the facility was clean. The server was so sweet and helpful...service was always prompt. Visit if you can.
The food might be good….but the quantity for $17 for one curry. Actually highly disappointed…at restaurant they give bigger quantity and take out… horrible. You guys are charging $5 more From Calgary and Edmonton per curry. Utterly shameless to rip people off like that.
A friendly advice to everyone never ever try this restaurant especially for takeout. Spent $35 for two curries and got only 5-6 spoons of curry each container . They are seriously looting people. Avoid these overpriced places.
My wife and I was craving for Biryani and we had the chance to try it. In an intance our Indian gastronomical taste buds was activated. Its been a while since we had the chance to have such a tastefull treat. For sure will keep coming back.
This place is a gem! Wish I knew about it sooner. The menu had lots to choose from. We ordered several dishes to share and they were all incredible. The flavors were addictive and service was friendly and accommodating. Portion sizes were generous and price point is affordable.
This is my favourite place to go for Indian food. The entire thing feels like an authentic experience and as newbies they are so helpful. The service is excellent and the food is fast and has been amazing every single time. Parking: Easy parking and plenty
It's our go to place for Indian food in Red Deer. Food is always flavourful and fresh. Samosas are to die for. The service top notch and in a very clean atmosphere. A real Indian experience. We will always be a repeat customer.
Always delicious. Had lamb curry - excellent! #3 was too spicy for me. I'll do #2 for spiciness next time. Prawns to start were amazing.Food: 5/5
I had the opportunity to dine in at the Indian Kitchen in late August. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere: clean surroundings, and background music. I had the basmati rice, garlic naan, and chicken jalfrezi and was delighted. I will happily return next time that I pass through Red Deer. As a side note, the restaurant has implemented COVID-19 prevention protocols which is great to see. I highly recommend this restaurant!
