This is a fantastic restaurant! My family ordered food here last night for the first time and we will definitely be ordering here again soon! The portion sizes are great and so are the prices! We also had to call the restaurant about our order and the customer service was phenomenal! Would highly recommend this Indian restaurant!
They clearly label which dishes are vegan and gluten free, which is super helpful! We ordered 2 types of pakora, 2 curries and had some Naan bread too. Everything was DELICIOUS and the serving sizes were bigger than expected. The customer service was great as they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highly recommend!!
Excellent dining experience. It took around 5 minutes from entering the restaurant, being welcomed by a staff member, to being seated and having an order taken. The food was served hot and had a delicious taste. The staff was really attentive and kind. I'm happy I made the decision to visit and delighted I did. Good food at a fantastic price!!!
Poor quality food. Hard naan, sugery butter chicken and fish. Would have rated 0 stars if possible. Never try this restaurant.
Excellent, wholesome, fresh tasting Indian dishes. We had and I would recommend the butter chicken curry medium heat to tickle your taste buds, chilli paneer we found medium heat for this was actually very mild, and the 20 mini samosas a great deal and delicious. If you haven’t tried it, go and you will be back. We can’t wait to sample more of their dishes. Vegetarian options: Equal amounts of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes available.
Delicious. They cook to the taste. Their biryani is way better than lot of Indian restaurants , where they mix the curry chicken with rice . I wish these guys are in Winnipeg. Their chicken platter is amazing. Will stop by often . Great service aswell.
We mostly had South Indian dishes and they were great. The fish pulusu comes with white rice was excellent Andhra style dish I would go back to have again. A bit on the hot side, but the curry wouldn't taste good otherwise maybe because of the sour nature of pulusu dishes, I guess. The Butter naan was soft and good. The biryani was above average with great texture on the meat, but was a little low on salt and didn't have much masala. But, on the whole a decent dish.
I had received the worst customer service today evening. The food was terrible as well. The paneer butter masala was not rich at all as it should be, and the dessert, which was supposed to be "Ras malai" tasted like a kitchen scrubber dipped in yellow sugar syrup. The last time me and my husband ate at this restaurant, the food was okay but today it felt like a waste of money. Never coming back to this restaurant again! Sorry for my rant, I'm not a person who complains but their lack of respect for customers truly deserves this rating.
We ordered food from here while travelling, the quantity is too low, they have charged 5.60 for a small portion of white rice,the sambar idly was terrible, looks like it was in the dhal, couldn’t find any veggies in the sambar. We ordered tandoori chicken biriyani, the chicken was good but the rice was not good at all, couldn’t find any spice or any flavour. I won’t recommend this hotel at all for Indian food. It’s bit pricey too.
Amazing food in Thunder Bay. 100% recommend it. I would urge you to try their homemade special dishes. Those are much better. Very very happy and will be going again if ever in Thunder Bay againFood: 5/5
