Very old an expired food they serve . We had party and we cater from them . And we all got sick . And some panner left. So keep in fridge and see in morning and what i saw you can see in pictures. They guys serving low quality food. And i go their restaurant ask said ur food has some expiry date . He said Indian food has no expiry date . So i have questions, why Indian food have no expiry date. In ayurveda . You have eat ur food between 3 hours of cooking. So according to paneer pictures u guys can think how old that food we be . If u guys seriously take your health. So don’t eat such kind food . Don’t go for taste . Go for quality
You have not lived until you try their Taj Special Honey Glazed Cauliflower battered cauliflower in a spicy/sweet glaze which is only on their takeout menu - and it's worth the drive, no question! We also love the butter chicken and paneer butter masala. This place has been our favourite Indian spot for years and is always phenomenal.
Ordered food 4 hours ahead of time, they still were late by another 15 mins…why does this happen??? Sets the take out experience to eat the food at with friends off … bad start for this specialty food provider. Ordered 8 items, all were below average in taste and portion size. As side note, there was only 1 cust in the rest. Won’t be back, nothing exceptional found here.
The guy prepared and served a goat curry and appetizers faster than you can get a pizza at Boston pizza. Service was great and so was the food. And the samosas are amazing.
Great little restaurant next to our childs dance studio. Excellent friendly staff. Food came out quickly and tasted like a home cooked meal! Was very accommodating for the kids and adjusting the spice level. Will definitely be going back and recommend you check it out. Beet garlic naan ive had in a long time
I asked for an authentic Indian dish for the uninitiated palate. Bhim recommended a lamb curry with garlic Nan. It was amazing. Very pleasant service with amazing food.
Got butter chicken and safron rice. Their safron rice is huge portion for a price, and their butter chicken was deep in flavor. If you like spicy, ask chef to make your foods spicier as their normal serving isn't too spicy!
Amazing “private” people are in silly American chains dinner at India Taj. The staff and owner spoke to us and recommended dishes. The butter chicken is phenomenal !!!!!!!! the fish was Spicy and delicious. Top notch ingredients and service. You can order direct and skip the skip the dishes to avoid the silly admin corporate fee great Indian beer selection. Cobra beer support local and save the cab drive/uber to edmonton .
The front of house employee here is very helpful and friendly. He even brought my food over to the nearby store I was working at. The mango lassi was sweet and creamy, with a few ice cubes in it. The kadai paneer had enough paneer in it to fill me as well. With all of the spicy sauce and vegetables leftover, I plan to stretch it by adding some shrimp to it at home for lunch tomorrow. The portion is that reasonable! Especially since you get 2 pieces of very squishy, wonderfully cooked naan with it. As for the beef samosas, they are big as well and balanced in flavour once the sweet and not diluted tamarind chutney is added. Without it, they are relatively mild in flavour. Order: $6 mango lassi $15 kadai paneer with naan $5 two beef samosas
Butter chickenmed, lemon rice, naan, and potato Patties. Absolutely incredible. I could eat it 7 days a week! Great job, equally great service.
