Haven't dined in at this place but it has an amazing interior and great atmosphere to it. Had the combo platter which I thought was great for its price and had good portions of everything and it tasted good. However the other items on the menu I felt were not very great in their Indian taste but it's not bad to try for someone who's trying out Indian food for the first time.
We went to India47 for our first ever Indian food experience and were not disappointed. Having never experienced Indian food, we were unsure about what to have, what flavours we would enjoy or should stay away from. The server was very happy to help us navigate our way through the menu and stay away from anything too spicy or bland. He encouraged us to try a few different items and share amongst the group. The food was quite good most of us loved it one enjoyed it but was not partial to the spice of Indian and no one was disappointed. I'd encourage others to go and try the place out. Even if you're scared to death of new things the garlic Naan is soft chewy garlic bread that you'll enjoy.
We went to India 47 to celebrate a birthday and it did nor disappoint. The restaurant itself is very elegant, and there is live music which was nice not too loud where you can’t have a conversation though. We were a large party so we ordered a bunch of items that I have never even heard of, but everything was extremely flavourful and tasty. I would definitely go back.
I was in the area and decided to give this a try and it was well worth it. The food was extremely good, the atmosphere was great, service was excellent and the overall, the place looked great. I will definitely recommend eating here.
Food was ok. It was not 5 star for the quantity compared to other stores near. The quality was actually better. We ordered the biriyani and samosa chat. Samosa chat was good 9/10 and biriyani was not perfect 6/10.
Such great service and tasty food. The ambiance inside and outside the restaurant is great as well. Vegetarian options: The paneer options were good
Nice and big place to eat. Food quality is good. Customer service is good as well. The only issue I had when I came in no one was there to at the front to attend us like for 5-6 mins straight as place wasn’t that busy. We order 3-4 different food items and their quality and taste was up to the mark. Medium spicy lvl I thought would be good enough but wasn’t that spicy and then have to order different food item in spicy which was pretty good. Big negative point is that the quantity according to price is not good at all. The best thing I loved in food item was their “Garlic Naan”. It was very well cooked and best ever had. So far this was my first time visit so far so good. Best thing I liked about the place was the size. How big is the place lots of choice to sit inside or outside as per persons mood. A big plus point as I don’t like the small crowed areas. I would love to visit this place again with my friends. Thanks
Good food. Good price. Probably the best indian restaurant in an around windsor in terms of ambience. Drinks menu is a bit expensive.
Was visiting Windsor for the first time and India47 was highly recommended by the students there. Went to celebrate my niece's graduation ...esrly dinner. We ordered 1. Veggie biryani...my kinda biryani. I like rice to be a bit moist and the biryani masala on every grain. Very well balanced spices and the kewra water touch was the highlight. 2. Mushroom masala.....very tasty gravy. Would have gone for more but had other items to deliver justice to : 3. Garlic naans...perfectly made ...no qualms there. 4. Mango lassi ...could do with a little more sugar and milk in it to soften the tartness.
One of my top favorite foods in Windsor! Definitely a must try if you're on Windsor, passing through or here for a visit. Always a mouthful of amazingly tasteful foods. Love the Vegan sections in the menu so helpful and unbelievably beautiful options for all ! High quality, fresh and absolutely tasty ingredients always go into the dishes made here! The many times I've been here I have been so satisfied with the dishes! You gotta eat here !
